I decided to book a Valentine's day surprise trip for my wife after seeing Skamania Lodge on a TV show. We couldn't have been happier with our experience! Great room, great environment, not too far from Seattle for a day drive, and excellent food even in the lounge. They even had great live music in the evening.

Our room was near the main lobby on the first floor and the door was not very sound proof. We heard everyone that walked down the hallway going to the main lobby. It made it hard to relax and sleep. We also paid for a couple's massage to try and add to the relaxing weekend. However, with the close proximity...

Overall a 3 star experience. Certainly not 5 star. The location was supurb...mountains and nature were glorious. The resort itself was average. Staff's ability to think on their feet and go above/beyond to resolve issues was average. Food was average. Accommodations were average. Nothing stood out.

We were looking forward to this peaceful trip. We love to relax and read in the main fireplace room. Most of our trip was great but the poor parts of our trip were when the art classes were being held in that beautiful room. It was both days we were there, right in the middle of the day, each class...

We haven't been to Skamania Lodge for several years but weren't disappointed when we returned for a nights stay. The facilities were clean and in great condition. The food was very good albeit a bit pricey for some of the entrees. The service was excellent and overall a very enjoyable trip. Will be back for sure!

Nice quiet! Beautiful location! Love the bar area too. The only negative was I never got a confirmation on my Spa reservations and when I finally got a call back 2 weeks later to confirm, they told me they never received my reservation that I not only made online but also left a voice message. I had to cancel my...

This was our first time to Skamania Lodge, but had great reviews from many friends. We enjoyed the food and spa. The staff and service was great--reception desk, River Rock, and spa. We were disappointed the trails were closed because of storms, but will do them next time!

We ha d a nice stay.this place has great potential. It needs work. Food was mediocre with high price tag.Dint get the scallops or lobster. Steak was good though. Nice wait staff. Drinks were good. Not a high end place, but still nice. Prices are WAY too high. They put in money on a new chef, higher quality food ,...

There were lots of problems! -Staff seemed "bothered" when asked for help. We waited forever to be checked in while they were talking on the phone. -There was NO HOT WATER for showers one of the evenings. We called the front desk but they didn't seem to know how to help. -There were really dirty glasses in living room on...

Overall the hotel was very nice and good quality. The room was clean and as expected. The beds in the double bed room are too small for a family of four. The River Rock restaurant had good food presentation for the entrees, but the taste was average to poor. The River Rock did have a good micro brew selection. The...
