We have been staying at the Spokane Club for years due to it’s character and location. Unfortunately the maintenance of this lovely old establishment no longer exists. From uncomfortable beds, to bad plumbing, screeching door hinges and a TV remote that did not function it made our last stay not a comfortable one. Sadly what use to be a “gem” is no longer!

Wow, what a charming old club with friendly staff, beautiful lobby, antique rooms and indoor pool. Walkable to just about everything in Spokane. Our room had fridge and there's a microwave down the hall in the business area/lounge. Wifi was good, I did some remote work. Safe, clean, quirky, highly recommended for a memorable stay in the friendly city of Spokane.

I really enjoyed my stay. Booked on a 3rd party website for $110 a night. The front desk staff was great!! The young gentleman that works overnights and the two lovely young ladies (day shift) were all awesome! I needed copies made and they took care of my needs. The housekeeping staff kept my room looking great daily! The room was adequate. As other reviewers have said, minimal outlets for electronics. The furniture had seen better days, but it all worked fine. Keurig coffee maker. The bed was quite comfortable.(Not too hard, but not too soft. I hate a rock hard bed!) Best part was the access to the sauna and steam rooms late at night just before bed. Open 24/7 for the hotel guests. The location was fantastic, right downtown near shopping and the park. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. There are homeless folks throughout Spokane, but I never felt threatened. Parking is $14 per night (secured) and a block and a half away. I’ve paid up to $22 at other hotels in Spokane, although I’ve also parked on the street and not paid. (kinda depends on where in downtown you are) I’d stay there again.

Hotel is in a sketchy part of town and parking garage is 1.5 blocks away. We heard gun shots 2 of 5 nights. No free parking or complimentary breakfast. Rooms are small and dated. Very limited plugs due to outdated electrical, the lamp on the desk wasn't plugged in and couldn't (3 prong plug with 2 prong outlet). Bathroom has very little counter space. No sofa, just a straight chair. Do not recommend.

So I have seen mixed reviews however my experience was amazing. This is a lovely old building perfectly located. I had a corner king room and it was perfect. Spacious (perhaps not big by US norms however I thought it large. Elements of its age gave the room character. Loved it. The health club was included and was terrific. I used the sauna/steam rooms not the pool. Sauna/steam open 24hrs. The nearby secure parking for $14 was worth getting. Reception staff really helpful and friendly. Overall quite faultless.

Back in better times in Spokane, this was a men's club. In order to survive, they have opened membership to anyone and build a large fully equipped gym in an adjoining building. So it is now a health club with rooms. Our room was a nice functional size. The bed was firm and comfortable with nice sheets. The shower had adequate water and pressure. We had cocktails at the old bar. The bartender did a nice job on the Manhattans. All in all this is a charming place in a beautiful historic building. The only problem is that Spokane has a homeless problem like other cities but you would get that with any other downtown Spokane hotel. At $175 with taxes and parking, I'd stay here again.

I booked a room for 4 nights and loved my room with a lovely walk in shower. the bed was comfortable, and my room was quiet. I loved the charm and elegance of this 1910 hotel, and felt, for those who wrote it was a bit shabby, people, this is this is what a 100+ hotel looks and feels like. There are other hotels with the bling and the newish look, but this one has character. Big thanks to Gus, Deborah, Jacob, and Anna (in the restaurant) who were so helpful. I'll stay here again.

This was a wonderful surprise". We normally just choose a standard name brand and hope for the best. However this trip we could not have been happier or been made to feel more as a member versus just another number. It is an athletic private club, and also a full service hotel. As guest's we were given full access to everything- fine dining and lounge, free athletic building with a full basketball court and indoor running track, weights, cardio and the pool, which is full Olympic diving size, not just the 5 feet deep kids pool. Everything was clean and modern with a very professional and genuine, friendly staff that made our evening special. The food was great, well priced. This has now become our "getaway" and our only choice when we come back to Spokane. Great price for what we received. Thank you-

I'm a business traveler, and the company I'm working with put us up in this hotel. It's very old an needs quite a bit of refreshing. Old furniture, old comforter, old window shades, dirty ceiling, cracked ceiling. The bed was comfortable, the restaurant food was ok, and I felt secure hence 2 stars. This hotel is overpriced to be so old, and feels nothing like a "Club"

I don’t know what rooms are posted online but the room I stayed it was NOTHING like the pictures. The rooms was dark, out window shade didn’t stay open. There was chipped paint on every wall. The bathroom was updated but not cleaned very well. It was very disappointing. The only highlight was Gus at the front desk.
