First off this hotel is really a motel...which is sometimes ok but in our case meant people talking and stomping around at all hours of the night, we could hear everything through the paper thin walls. The icing on the cake though is the train screaming right outside that will keep you up despite ear plugs and a white noise app. The place was clean but I have no idea how it gets such good stars -if you value your sleep at all do not stay here. The bathroom was nice but there was hardly enough water pressure to take a shower. I felt like a piece of laundry in a high efficiency washing machine. Again the real problem is the noise tough, I thought it was a bad sign they have complimentary ear plugs, like they KNOW you’re going to need them. Lesson learned!
If you say you offer earplugs and fans to your guests to help with the train noise in your responses to these reviews, shouldn’t you actually do that? There were no earplugs or white noise machines in our room. Guests shouldn’t have to call the front desk in the middle of the night to request a service they don’t know exists. Tell your customers when they check in, not when they review. Better yet, just have them ready in the room.
Enjoyed another nice stay last night. Spotless room and we've never had any issues in our previous 4 or 5 visits. Still a friendly and outgoing staff....even the maids return smiles and greetings, and lord knows they have a difficult job at any hotel. Wonderful to be able to walk a couple blocks to fun, food, and libation without worry about parking downtown, which can be such a challenge. A great value and super location...really outweighs the train noise. We're going back for New Year's Eve!!
I’m writing this review from my bed at the hotel. I’m generally a very heavy sleeper, but i’ve woken up every time a train has come by- which has been several times. The one thing I expect in a hotel is a place to sleep. I’m really surprised at all the positive reviews. I have a toddler who is miserably tired now. Beyond the sleepless night, the location is close to everything and the front desk was very friendly. The rooms are really tiny. The pillows are thin and the sheets are a bit scratchy. Our cable didn’t work. We asked the front desk for help, but they were busy with a challenging guest. All in all this is the worst hotel experience i’ve ever had. We were going to stay in a cheap motel outside the city to save money, but I wanted us to splurge on some place nicer and avoid the risk of cigarette burned sheets and bad smells since we don’t get many vacations. I’m really regretting that now. I’d prefer the cigarette burns.…
Sorry I don't have pictures for this stay. First and foremost I'd you are attending a show at the theater of the fox it is literally a 4 minute walked so you can drink and not pay for a cab! There's food along the way! Fantastic location. The staff is fantastic! Very friendly and funny and helpful, I was having troubles with my card but it is Canadian so that was the issues BUT the staff was great and helped figure everything out. The room was great, clean, comfy! Nothing bad to say. And for the price it was awesome. The only thing that was lacking waa the breakfast, very simple and three things to eat so that could've been a bit better even with some yogurt or fruit but hey that was the only thing that wasn't fantastic! Will stay there 100% if we're in Spokane again!!
