Hotel's Favorite
The bar menu was exceptional and the portion sizes were huge. Ask for the pickled onions for your cheese burger. The 6 onion soup and Steak and Blue Salad are plenty for two people to share. Our server, Cecelia was attentive, funny and helpful! Hope you’re in her section when you go.

We upgraded to the presidents suite- worth it!!! It was already decorated for Christmas which just added to the fun! We were well taken care of at Spencer’s on Friday night and had a great breakfast at Shutters on Sunday! Thanks for making our daughters birthday weekend memorable!

I usually prefer Hyatts given my status but with a dearth of options in this secondary (tertiary?) city, I settled for the Doubletree since it was connected to the convention center which hosted the conference I was in town for. I also have Silver status which did not yield any perks. The highlight of this property is the proximity to the convention center, the hardworking staff at Shutters during the busy breakfast rush and Spencer's during dinner, and the decadent cookies from the front desk. The cons of the hotel were the overdue renovations as the rooms and public spaces are quite tired. My room could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning and scrubdown as everything was coated in a fine layer of dust-- even the toiletry containers in the bathroom! The fitness center was small for the size of the property and awkwardly located in the hall or busy thoroughfare between the convention center and the room elevators. With glass doors and heavy foot traffic it wasn't the most inspiring place to workout so I opted to go to the nearby Spokane Club for their excellent fitness center. Go for the warm cookies which they were happy to offer when asked throughout the stay (not just at check-in), maybe stay if you have something going on at the convention center. The Davenport Grand nearby also connected to the Convention Center seemed like a more updated and modern option so if you don't have Hilton loyalty, consider other options. …

The hotel was so conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to see. When we got there, Dylan helped check us in and was a super nice and fun person to give us that first impression. Breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed the assortment of food at the buffet. The beds were absolutely comfortable. The hot tub, though the jets didn’t work, was a super pleasant and relaxing thing after a long day of walking around Spokane. My only down was that the gift shop wasn’t open 24 hours. Had to settle for the Chili’s across the street for late night treats. I’d definitely go back again! Thank you all! - Allyssea

We enjoy staying here. It is such a close walk to concert venues without having the hassle of parking. The staff is friendly and helpful too! We also enjoy the famous Doubletree cookies. The restaurant, Shutters, has great service as well.

Only the lobby was clean, puke in the elevator. No designated smoking area, 25 dollar parking fee. Was locked out for roughly 30 minutes then harassed by security and charged 250 dollars for cigarette butts that fell out of my pocket since there's omly one ashtray on the property, that I could find.

Great customer service the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean with comfy mattresses. The steakhouse is fabulous and the hotel is within walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and the river. Overall a great stay.
