Detailed Reviews
I can't say enough good things about this property. The staff is fabulous. The rooms are well appointing and lacking for nothing. The breakfasts (which last until 10 AM!) are absolutely the best. (We loved the strawberry waffles with whipping cream and the ham was delicious!) Everything about this hotel is first rate. The location is conveniently placed off the freeway; and although it is a transient area of town the safety measures taken by the staff left us feeling comfortable both inside out outside the hotel.

Nicest staff ever. Drew, Justin & kaitlin treated us like royalty. Really nice & welcoming & friendly ..they offered plenty of dinner & sight seeing ideas. I honestly can’t say enough nice things about those nice young people!
The place is a Brand new remodel- every inch was very well done & beautiful! We stayed 6 nights.
My friend & I didn’t feel cramped in the 2 bed room at all. Everything was very well thought out - such as the full length mirror, reading lights by bed, a small corner chair with a light & desk area with light..The comfortable beds & new linen were great. The bathroom had plenty of counter & storage space. The shower, shower head, & mirror was very nice. Nice towels & wash cloths, too. We had a nice view from the 4th floor.
Because of covid, There was no hot breakfast. We had a check list to order daily of boiled eggs, muffins, orange, yogurt. Because there is a microwave & fridge in the room, we went to the store for cheese. yogurt & fruit, too.
There are quite a few homeless around but they didn’t bother us. The property was well cared for & people were allowed in by a buzzer from the front desk. We felt very safe, even as we walked to Dicks for our burgers & shakes. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was a great experience.

Stayed here for three nights (2 adults, one 6 year old child).
Good experience. Room was very clean, super friendly staff gave us extra pillows. We loved the blackout curtains. Got to sleep in a little longer due to the dark room. Lobby and exercise room very clean. Due to Covid, no hot breakfast but the bagged breakfast was delicious and more than enough. (Yogurt, fruit cup, muffin, 2 boiled eggs) per person.
And we loved it that they are super pet friendly. We have a toy poodle and many places either don’t accept animals at all or they charge ridiculously high pet fees. Not here! Also, the rooms are reasonably priced. The rooms have really good air conditioning, a fridge, coffee pot and microwave. Comfy beds too.
Lastly, yes, there’s quite a bit of homeless/druggies looking people walking around the area, but we were out everyday, in the morning and late at night giving our dog potty breaks and we never saw them on the Hotel property, just across the street at the 7-11 store and walking nearby. We didn’t feel threatened or anything.
My family and I would definitely stay here again. If you want a very clean, spacious room with comfy beds and great customer service at a VERY reasonable price, this is the place. And yes, your pooch gets to stay for free.

La Quinta usually provides a very nice breakfast, pool/spa, no pet fees and nice rooms. This one had no place to swim which I kind of understand because of the location but I was charged a pet fee and was not told until after I have them my card. The breakfast process is done by ordering on a sheet beforehand but I was never given one even after asking twice. So our trip ended up costing much more than we expected because this location was lacking the amenities that draw us to La Quinta when we travel, and we do that frequently with our three dogs. This location also left me questioning the decision to go outside after dark, very unstable people in the area.

We decided to stay here despite some warnings and bad reviews. First of all, I never felt unsafe, even in the parking lot. I saw the homeless across the street but not in the parking lot of the hotel. We didn't go out at night, and we didn't leave valuables inside our car just to be sure.
The hotel itself is locked at night, has someone there 24 hours and monitored with cameras. The room was clean, new and modern and the bed was very comfortable. There was a room darkening screen that could be pulled down on the window. The room was on the small size but adequate.
The breakfast was the best we have had on our month long trip. Multiple hot items were served in a clean bright room.
The staff were all helpful and friendly, but Brendon was especially nice.
I would highly recommend this hotel and I will stay here again. I wanted to give a 4.5 recommendation because of the neighborhood, but since I didn't have that choice I upped it to a 5 since it deserves more than a 4.

We traveled from Olympia, WA, to Saint Louis, staying in LaQuinta Inns all along the way. This was the best one. Breakfast was above and beyond. We were talking about the strawberry whipped cream waffles for days. Very clean hotel room and bathroom. Very friendly and efficient service at the front desk. Very convenient location. People commented on review sites about the 7 Eleven across the street. I personally observed staff members come out and check the parking lot at three different times during our stay. The parking lot is fenced on 3 sides and I felt totally secure the whole time. Very impressed with this hotel. If I'm back in Spokane again, I will absolutely stay here.

This Spokane location of LaQuinta is nice and comfortable. Easy on/off I-90.The motel is very nicely updated, with a large and open reception/lounge area. The breakfast nook was very large with lots of comfortable chairs, easily the best motel breakfast area I've seen in awhile. The breakfast (open until 10:00!) had the usual stuff, but with a few extras like various fresh fruit and many kinds of breads, muffins, bagels, donuts, hot oatmeal, etc. The room was clean and quite comfortable. Our room was the "junior studio suite", which for a few dollars more, was worth it. Yes, there are homeless wandering about in the neighborhood, but the large motel parking lot is fenced, with an automatic gate. We had no problems with the rather sad homeless folk milling about the area. Don't let the down-and-out homeless scare you away, all will be ok.

The neighborhood was a little concerning, but the hotel staff did an awesome job making us feel safe! The room was clean and very new looking! Even though covid19 restricts so many things they were smart enough to brown paper bag pre-ordered free breakfast!! It was wonderful! We just filled out the slip the night before and picked it up the next morning. Staff was so helpful and kind. Great place to stay!

What a great hotel. Spectacular design and efficient use of space. Especially noteworthy was the glass shower the size of a bathtub. Common areas are very modern. Unfortunately the area of Spokane the hotel is in has a large homeless population very visible throughout my stay. Security in getting into the hotel is great. Was a bit concerned about my car.

The staff were very friendly and helpful when we had questions or issues. Check in and checkout were easy peasy- gave the name on check in since we booked thru hotels.com and they gave us the key cards. Checkout just put the keys in a basket and left.
Breakfast had a good variety- make your own waffles, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs w cheese, sausage, ham, bread, bagels, donuts, apples and bananas, juices, coffee, PBJ, honey, cream cheese… plenty of places to sit in the lobby and nice decor.
The hotel only has one elevator so it was a bit challenging in the morning getting done for breakfast and checking out- the stairs led outside- not down to the lobby.
They have a recycling bin in the eating area- but only the single use cups technically can be recycled- single use plastic forks etc aren’t made to be recycled and the paper plates and napkins are actually compost once they have had food on them…so the bin filled with “recycling” actually looked like garbage. No recycling in the hotel room.
The room (207) was decorated nicely with a fridge (no freezer which was a bummer for our ice packs) and microwave. The entire hotel is non smoking- YAY!! The beds however made noise every time you move and the bed shook with movement so sleep for me was negligible. Our sink was VERY slow draining and the shower needed caulking along the bottom- realized it was CONSTANTLY leaking onto the floor causing us to use all our extra towels to mop up the pool of water in the bathroom. We notified staff upon checkout of these issues since we knew they wouldn’t be a quick fix and we were just staying for one night. I did love the legs shampoo and body wash pumps (eco friendly) and small Dove hand soap. If my quality of sleep had been better and we hadn’t encountered the leaking shower and clogged sink it for sure would have been 5 stars. If we are in the area again we would definitely give them another try.
