From the point of making our reservation to being personally shown our room, our family was beyond impressed at the excellent service and courteous treatment from the staff. Small town motel with boutique style cottage rooms meticulously cleaned and prepared for guests. We were delightfully surprised at the coziness and at home feel of the rooms. Our room was updated with a modern yet “by the sea” classic feel. Upscale fixtures, newer kitchen and even a jacuzzi tub in our unit. We had a beautiful view of the river and Each a cute front porch and sitting area. The bed and sofa bed was neatly made with fresh smelling linens and was very comfortable!! They even left us a handwritten note, such a sweet and personal gesture! The gal who checked us in went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!! We will be excited to stay here again in the near future! Highly recommended!

We are a retired couple who travel frequently along the western coast of the US. We always look for safe, clean and comfortable places to stay. We stayed in room 19. We thought we booked a 2 queen room, but were so pleasantly surprised with 2 queen bedrooms, 1 bath, and a full kitchen! It’s and older place, but has been very well maintained. The suite was well appointed with all the necessities for the price we normally pay for a standard room. We had dinner one block away at The Chester Club and Oyster Bar. The food was good and the locals are very friendly. We will definitely stay here in this small town again.

I fell in love at first sight. It was just like a movie, quaint little rooms. The insides are cozy with clean linens and a little full kitchen. TVs for each room. A nice big table for eating and plenty of seating for four occupants. No AC but open the windows and you get a lovely breeze that keeps it perfectly comfortable.

The wi-fi was a bit spotty but that's my own real critique.

I think most people will enjoy it.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Just know that the office is across the street on the upside of the hill.

Don't forget to say hi to Bam-Bam, the adorable American Bulldog. Just such a sweetheart!

Can’t say enough good things about our visit. Spent three nights while visiting family in the area. The room was very clean, modern and inviting. Separate bedroom and full kitchen which were both very convenient. Staff was very friendly….Will definitely be back!!

We stayed in room 20 over the weekend and had a great stay. Very clean room, very nice kitsches with this suite. The owners are very attentive and the view and ambience was fantastic. Thanks again, we will definitely be back soon.

We loved this place. The rooms are large and comfortable. Beds are great and the price is very reasonable. No A/C but it was a typical cool day so was not needed. Walking distance to the river and restaurants. Would not hesitate to recommend..

Stayed once and was pleased with my room. Came through a second time....
1)Last room left in town
2) had 3 generations of women (3 women) who were hot, exhausted and in need of a room.
3) Was turned away because the lady running the desk didn't want to rent a queen room to 3 people.
I've worked in the industry. There was no reason to turn us away. Disappointed and will never ever stay there again. Will not recommend anyone stay. Would never even mention the hotel to anyone to stay in. Shame!

It really deserves ten stars. These are fantastically clean little suites. My room was actually three rooms, living, kitchen, bedroom, and bath. All clean and well-decorated in a simple, attractive fashion. A lttle porch to sit on and drink coffe, or just relax. The kitchen had clean utensils. A very pleasant surprise was a well stocked coffee pot for morning coffee--something I hadn't expected because I thought with a kitchen I would have to bring my own coffee.. A big flat screen TV in the bedroom and a smaller one in the living room. A recliner with a good reading light. A sofa with a good reading light. A good reading light in the bedroom. A desk to use my computer on. Enough plug ins for my camera equipment, batteries, computer, etc. Within walking distance to an attractive waterfront, or a very short drive in the car. Very close to the courthouse with its Tiffany dome. I plan on coming back here for a few days and use it as a center for photography expeditions to Tokeland, Bay City, Hoquiam. South Bend is a sleepy town--the sort of place we used to vacation years ago, a wonderful spot to wind down a bit, and the Seaquest is a wonderful spot to stay in. The owners and staff are wonderful.

I stayed at the Seaquest Motel in September while on a family vacation. We found this hotel by chance as by the time we reached South Bend we were pretty tired. We were not expecting too much on such short notice and in such a small community but wow were we pleasantly surprised. The room was extremely clean, the small kitchen was handy, the beds were comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were wonderful and very helpful in advising us on the things to do in the area. Crabbing/Clamming. We will always remember the wonderful hospitality of this small and charming town and plan to return on our next family outing. Thank you and thumbs up to the seaquest motel and its staff.

In all of our travels these past many years, we've found only two mom-and-pop motels that are destination spots all by themselves. Seaquest Motel in South Bend, Washington is one of them. (The other one is Cabin Creek Inn in Thayne, Wyoming.) An earlier Trip Advisor member said she'd give this motel TEN stars if she could and I totally agree. The owners are genuinely friendly and out of their way helpful. The rooms/suites are well appointed, beautifully decorated and clean, clean, clean. Spectacularly white and clean-smelling bed linens. Great beds and pillows. Thick and fluffy towels. Lots of outlets for our electronic gadgets. No neighbor noise. Our roomy suite had a full kitchenette complete with stove, oven, dinnerware. Totally relaxing. We ride a motorcycle and they gave us parking on a level spot within the motel complex and nice 'rags' to wash the bike. We experienced a flat tire on our motorcycle while in South Bend and owner Doug left his breakfast to dig out his air compressor for us. Getting a new tire shipped in meant we had to stay an extra two days. Couldn't have happened at a better place; Seaquest felt like home, only better. Check out the historic courthouse just up the street. We were on the road 19 days this tour, and the Seaquest Motel jumped right to the top of our list. The big boys have nothing on The Seaquest Motel!
