Clean quiet hotel. Pretty view from my balcony. Staff was all very friendly and the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is in a great location, close to some great restaurants, and they have a restaurant and bar onsite. 🍸

This hotel is just as beautiful as the pictures! We had a multi-day visit that was made especially enjoyable by the graciousness and fine service experienced at the Oxford Suites. Our rooms had a lovely water view, and the delight of in-room fireplaces! The food was excellent. But the particular pleasure was the highly professional and personable staff, including Michelle and Brittany in the bistro and at the front desk. Jamie was outstanding in her very helpful special support linked to our many events, her help with planning, logistics and even with Fed EX related to details for the Navy ceremonies. She was courteous and always responsive in every way. Oxford Suites provided an ideal location and environment that enriched the joy of our visit to the beautiful Pacific North West. A thousand thank you's for the fine setting and good people who made our visit such a pleasure. And the indoor pool was a bonus!

Friendly and helpful staff and well maintained facility made our stay here the best one of our week-long trip. Convenient and well apportioned room decor and design with clean and comfortable bedding along with windows that allowed fresh air in helped us get much needed peaceful sleep. The breakfast was excellent. Blueberry pancakes, 2 kinds of sausages, real eggs, fresh fruit, wide assortment of teas and excellent views set up the morning for success to recharge our body, mind, and spirit.

Stopped in Silverdale for a night and decided to stay at the Oxford Suites. I have stayed here about 15 years ago and really enjoyed it. Well this time was very disappointed.

For the year being 2021, you would think all hotels would offer USB outlets in their rooms along with HD smart tvs. This room did originally have two USB ports but one was busted out and the other just didn't work. The reception on the tv was lacking and not having the option for netflix or amazon prime was really disappointing because their basic tv channels were very minimal. Also the beds were super firm. If you are older or have a bad back consider yourself warned.

If you want a nice dark room you will not find black out curtains here. The room was also not thoroughly cleaned because I could see marks of a cup on the nightstand that I was able to wipe away myself. There was also someone else's hair in the bathroom I do understand staff is running short in most places so I can deal with missing certain things during a clean.

We stripped our beds to help house cleaning and noticed multiple holes in the mattress pads..the letter "q" was sharpied on everything..even the white duvet with no cover and that was right up at our faces.

I literally felt like my room was a motel 6 room with an Oxford Suites price.

There were a few great things about this hotel though.. Free parking was nice, the Asst General Mgr checked us in and she was very helpful. The breakfast in the mornings had a really good selection and even though, I didn't bring a pet they do take them. Oh and their AC was fantastic!

Suggestions: More USB plugs, HD smart TVs, bigger bath towels, maybe get some not so firm mattresses.

We had an enjoyable six days in Silverdale staying at the Oxford Suites. The hot breakfast is very nice, although after six days it became quite repetitive. The staff in the kitchen/dining area are wonderful: friendly, cheery and helpful!
We had no terrible experiences with the desk staff although the lady who checked us in certainly didn't appear to enjoy her job! It wasn't until the very last day of our stay that one helpful gal explained that our two daily 'tickets' could be used for bottled water or drinks in the gift shop if we didn't want to use them in the bar!
Our BIG COMPLAINT, however, was the lack of WIFI in our room. We stayed in the last room in the hall, which apparently is the farthest away from the hub in the center of the building. We asked and complained about this multiple times and were told at the desk they'd have the tech guy 'reset' (which did nothing to solve the issue) it but we could always come down to the lobby to use our devices. That is very irritating since our communication these days is via email, etc. Other employees we talked to about it seemed to be very familiar with the problem but shrugged it off.
Would we go back? Maybe. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the sheets smelled clean. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. We had a room facing the water (more expensive) which was great on the 4th of July for fireworks watching, but certainly not worth the expense any other time of the year.

I found myself on a business trip to the Bremerton / Subase Bangor area and was looking for accommodations. My travel program gave me some selections a couple of which were national chains but it also had the Oxford Suites listed. Now anyone who has travelled for business knows that your company has a price range which you must stay in. So all of the choices were within the Same price range. It would then follow that the accommodations would all be of the same relative quality. I thing could be further from the truth. For value the Oxford Suites cannot be beaten. I travel frequently and stay at the various national chains and comparing and comparing my stay to those the Oxford Suites stands far above them. What makes the Oxford Suites my choice when in this area are three things: (1) Bed comfort, (2) Service, and (3) Amenities.

(1) The bed was extremely comfortable. I like a firm mattress because of my back but this bed was soft and comfy while being firm enough that I did not feel any after effects on my lower back.

(2) I made a couple of housekeeping requests during my stay (extra hangers and extra coffee supplies) and they were provided in abundance and extremely quickly (within 5 min of the request). Also all of the staff smiled when interacting with them and in every case went out of 5eir way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

(3) The breakfast and the Manager's daily social were the stars of the trip. Typically in every other national chain I have stayed in the "free breakfast" borders on being inedible. Not so with the breakfast offered at the Oxford Suites. It is very good, restaurant quality food. Also the evening Manager's social is good as they provide soup and salad and two free drinks from their bar.

All in all if I am back in the area this would be my hotel of choice and have no problem in recommending it to my fellow employees who travel here also.

To keep this review as short as possible. The smaller toilet area in the separate bedroom smelled of urine. I don't believe our bedding was changed prior to our stay. Even after they sent housekeeping to try to clean around the toilet area, it still smelled, he was quickly in & out. The splatter stains along the trim was still present after he left our room. The breakfast was lukewarm but I did like that they offered bacon. Be informed that outside food is NOT allowed to be eaten in the dining area of the hotel during there hours of operation. So you're stuck trying to find some way to eat comfortably inside your room when you have more than 1 adult and there's only a small table and 1 chair while we travel with our disabled adult son. We were asked to leave after we got situated and began eating in the dining area. Make sure you don't forget your belongings because they will tell you that housekeeping must have it and you'll never get it back. I left my sweater in the closet, called them to ask if they could hold it for me and they claimed it wasn't there. The pool area is located in their basement area and that floor wreaks of musty, mold odors so we only went once and didn't stay long. The fitness room was way too small and the air quality to breathe is not good down there. If your traveling with a child who has special needs like our family and you need to hook up an original Wii or anything else that requires the older a/v cords, you'll need to also bring along an adapter because they TV's only have HDMI ports. The entire time we were there I didn't see any housekeeping carts in the halls for cleaning anyone's rooms. Which further made me question if our bedding was even changed or did they cut corners to save a few bucks? From the moment we were asked to leave the dining area that was enough to set my son off. He couldn't understand why that happened and people don't understand. We wound up leaving a day earlier than scheduled and the only positive thing about the stay was that the hotel was nice enough to charge us a late check out fee of $50 rather than the entire nights rate. The staff was friendly. But it was the upkeep, cleanliness and the fact that they allow pets inside the hotel. Which a loose dog escaped from it's owner and entered the dining area during our breakfast hours which also set my son off because he's afraid of dogs. The kitchen staff eventually got the dog out. This just wasn't the hotel for us.

This hotel met our needs perfectly as far as location and amenities offered (wifi can be spotty). It’s a great location with lots of food options in and around the hotel. The parking lot is alittle tricky if you have a larger vehicle but just be mindful about it and it’s fine. We were there to help a family member move to the area for a new job and I tried to work remotely at times. That was unsuccessful because of a technical reason that wasn’t really the hotel’s fault but I did have to go offsite. Other than that it’s a great place to stay! Staff is cheery and helpful. Only reason I knocked down sleep quality was we had the misfortune to have some (walking around) noise at times from the room above us. A hazard and always my luck in most hotels!

While this hotel has decent visual appeal and very nice water view, there were 2 deal breakers. First- staff not wearing masks. On 3 separate occasions, we saw a staff member in the lobby area without a mask. That shows an appalling lack of concern for the well being of guests. 2nd, the wifi is pretty much non existent. It comes on for a bit, and then completely checks out. If you are trying to do anything that last more than a couple of minutes (like streaming movies or doing any WORK, you better bring a hotspot. They offered me an ethernet cable when I complained, and then we found out the ethernet port in the room doesn't work. For that matter, neither did the USB chargers in the lamp. For a hotel that looks good, not having reliable internet in the 2020s is just ridiculous. Cleanness wise this room was okay, but not as good as others I've stayed at during the pandemic. I was glad we Brough our own cleaning wipes. There were chunks of something in the toilet when we arrived. Just overall an underwhelming experience. Would not stay again. I have stayed at the hotel next door and it is much better. We will go there if we come to Silverdale again.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns and giving us an opportunity to look into the issues you described in your review. We always strive to provide an exceptional stay to each of our guests, and we are truly sorry that your recent stay fell short of your expectations. The cleanliness you have described is certainly not our standard, and we are using your feedback as a training opportunity to review with our housekeeping team. We know how important reliable internet is, and our management team is also following up on the connectivity issues that you described. Lastly, the health and safety of our guests and team members are our top priorities, and we are grateful for the mask ordinance that is in place in the State of Washington. We would like to reassure you that our team is in full compliance with the mask requirement even as we make accommodations for our team members that need them. Thank you again for taking the time to share these concerns with us - it's feedback like this that helps us continuously improve. If we can help to address any additional concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our General Manager, Steven, at 360.698.9550. We wish you safe travels and hope you'll consider giving us another chance in the future.

This place was so beautiful and overall an amazing experience. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and made us feel comfortable during our stay. There were just a couple things that we noticed that were a little concerning. When we were checking out our room we noticed there was a cute little ice cube tray in the little freezer of the mini fridge but when I pulled it out the ice cubes were half frozen and the tray was very moldy on the top and bottom. We just dumped out the water and left it on the bathroom sink so they would know it needed to be cleaned for the next guest. We also enjoyed a nice swim in the pool, however when we went into the hot tub we noticed some black mold where the water goes into the wall on the opposite side of the steps to enter the tub. We felt very uncomfortable being in there after that and left the pool area. We are very patient and understanding people and know that things can be forgotten or easily missed when trying to get the room or pool area ready for guests, so just wanted to mention that there is some room for improvement but otherwise this was a very very nice place to stay and we enjoyed it. We will be coming back when the weather is nice!
