This place is absolutely amazing. I can't imagine the time and energy that went into all of the building, split log and fence rail building, log carving, architectural details and grounds maintenance. Just driving through to look at the barns, houses, castle, fences and Troll carvings is amazing. There are horses on the property, From certain locations one can even...

This place is better than the website, better than the photos. You kinda need to see it to believe it. I love the stone circles, the dragons, the monoliths with petroglyphs, the statuary, the Celtic crosses, the barn, horses, goats, chickens, and fields of apples trees and lavender. Yes the exterior of the castle is kitschy, but that is ok....

We put together a multi-day wedding event in July 2014 and could not have been happier! We worked with Amanda to rent out both the Gatekeeper's Castle (for the week) and the Antique Barn for the wedding and reception over the weekend. There had been some confusion with the now-gone manager of the castle, but Amanda was very helpful and...

We made reservations in Feb. for a stay in June. Was suppose to have the Dungeon for 5 days and nights. But the Gate Keepers fired there manager and didn't inform us that our reservations were no longer valid. So having drove all the way from Kansas and showing up the day we were to check in we had to...

Hello Albert, I apologize for your horrible experience as I did on the phone as well. However we did not "fire" the previous "manager" the women you made reservations with in February was a tenant renting from Troll Haven who chose to abandon the property and her business here. We in no way managed any business she had going on...

We had our wedding here and it was truly a perfect day. Josie was such a great hostess and so accommodating! We booked an upstairs room for the the night before and after the wedding to get ready in and it was lovely. We stayed the night in the dungeon though which was so unique and fun! We didn't stay...

The resident keeper (Josie) and kitties were great hosts. the grounds are phenomenal. you won't find another place like it! and for the price, definitely the best deal in Sequim. You will...

Me and the missus enjoyed our two night stay. Violet, our hostess, was very friendly and accommodating. She gave us a tour of this very interesting castle and we got to see the dungeon, which was very cool. Glad we stayed upstairs, because I need windows and fresh air circulation to sleep, which does not exist down there. Breakfast is...

We are two mature (over 65) friends and traveller companions. We love to stay in unique places and this one was unique to the point that upon entrance to the dungeon, we questioned our sanity. What are we doing here? Where are the lights, the windows, the phone? We were in the dungeon - literally. My friend said "let's pick...

This is one of the most unique properties I've ever visited, and not to be missed. For one, the value of what you're getting is miles ahead of any BnB; deluxe dual head steam shower, giant tub for two, massive grounds to walk, views for miles, real privacy, space. The whole castle of course has a medieval theme which wanders...
