My family stayed here in both the Osprey's Nest and The Landing. Both cabins were great! The Osprey's Nest was much more spacious than we expected and had plenty of seating indoor and out. The living room + dining area can seat about 13. There were 4 chairs on the deck plus another 4 or 5 around the table on... More

Just returned from our Washington Oregon holiday and time to reflect on what is the truth about accommodations while away. We stayed in the one star Skipper Cottage and our night was as follows 1. Little to no sleep as the bed was very hard. We alternated sleeping on the sofa as it was more comfortable.. 2. The Captain cottage... More

Thanks for the review Maynard. We do note on our website that the Skipper's Quarters is located beneath the Captain's Quarters and that entry requires steps and a trail to the entrance. It is also noted on our website - that this is not recommended for people who have difficulty navigating this type of terrain. Note that this is our... More

We just spent 4 peaceful days at the Sunset Marine Resort cabins that are kid friendly and also doggy friendly. They have several cabins of different sizes if you are considering a bigger group trip. These aren't too rugged and creature comforts are aplenty. It took us 4 hrs including ferry wait time to get there from Seattle (we took... More

We rented the entire complex.. So perfect for our mother's 90th birthday celebration-with 5 siblings, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, 2-90 yrs old. We brought a wave runner and small skiff and caught Dungeness Crab. We loved the separate cabins and homes. All are well equipped and each has it's own ambience and is wonderfully decorated. The water view and sunsets were... More

We enjoyed everything about our stay in the Captain's Quarters. The cabin, the view, amenities are all quite nice. The best part, though, is the owners. They are all about encouraging their guests to enjoy themselves and relax! This visit was a combination business trip with a long weekend. Even though we are from the midwest, we will go out... Just returned from a GREAT family reunion at this resort. The children were obsessed with capturing crabs and clams. Although the cabin was rustic, it was quaint and peaceful. Three seals hung out front and a sea otter even swung by. The ladies running the place were available when needed but rarely seen when not. Bring your own kayaks. Enjoy... More

Anyone that is traveling in this area needs to stay at this resort! We got lucky and just showed up to see if they had a vacancy and due to a last minute cancellation we were able to get a cabin. Not just any cabin but the eagles nest which sits at the top of the hill and has a... More

This is exactly what it appears to be. Old cabins which have been maintained and not made into generic cookie cutter places. We were lucky and got a one night stay in the boat house and I wish we were staying one more night. The place is very clean and I couldn't ask for a better view. A nice stereo... More

We stayed there in December, arrived after dark, so woke up to a beautiful view of the bay! We stayed in the Eagles Nest cabin. We were 2 couples and its a 3 bedroom, so we had plenty of space. Just one bathroom however to share. The kitchen and living room were huge. They have a wood burning fireplace/stove, so... More

The Sunset Marine Resort provides a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Sequim area. The views, serenity and location provide a great vacation to couples, families and friends. We stayed in the Eagles Nest cabin and enjoyed it very much. The cabin was spacious, well equiped and generally outstanding. We will definately return.
