We had a reservation in Port Angeles but when we got there the room wasn't acceptable so we decided to head northwest since our goal was to make it to Cape Flattery. We got a last minute reservation at Van Riper's. Gary (retired Navy) was behind the counter, checked us in, easy-peasy. He had a very cheery, friendly disposition. The... More

We were looking for a weekend getaway with a beautiful drive and comfortable place to just relax. We were more than pleased with Van Riper's. The 5 hour drive thru the coastal towns of Washington was just what we were looking for. After reaching our destination, we found the little town to be quiet and peaceful. Our room at Van... More

Loved our visit, nice friendly staff, very welcoming! "Home" away from home! We will be back! The room was neat and clean, the resort sits right on the water depending on the room there are great views. I didn't realize how far north we were until my mother said their Canada, it was a great trip and I will be... More

Stayed here after a couple of times at Mason's. We stayed in the waterfront room and it was SO NICE! Clean, nice and very well set-up. The only downside is they don't allow pets - but otherwise this is the place for us to go fishing. The views from the room and deck are amazing.

My husband and I have stayed here twice. We took a drive in the fall. The leaves were all changing and the drive was beautiful. We ended up way out on the peninsula and stopped at Van Riper’s Resort which is right off the water in Sekiu. When we arrived the staff was super friendly and pointed us to a... More

Van Riper's Resort is a hidden gem! They have waterfront views, RV hook-ups and the most friendly and helpful staff around. Van Riper's isn't just a fishing resort. It was my home-base while I did some sight-seeing and hiking. From Van Ripper's you are accessible to many different outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and sight-seeing. Sunrise and sunset were... More

Great location on the bay (but almost everything is in Sekiu); very limited view unless you stay in one of the two largest rooms on the waterfront end of the building. Room was very clean and had all linens, as well as a two burner stove top, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, a few dishes, some utensils, and a few... More

It's a fishing camp/Hotel, not a five star resort, so come with that in mind. The Room and linens where clean although furniture a bit dated and the staff friendly and help full with questions, and Ice. Good place to stop over to see Flattery Point.

A great spot for a stop over near Neah Bay! Great customer service!!! Wonderful view on our deck overlooking the water! We sat on our deck watched a beautiful sunrise and had coffee while watching the Eagles overhead! Will definitely be visiting again!!

We knew when we booked here that it was not a luxury resort, but rather a fishing resort. We did not go for fishing ,but rather a location to explore Cape Flattery. We were not disappointed. We had a very small unit, but it was had the essentials. The staff was very friendly.
