We stayed in the birdhouse and it was great. We went there as part of a vacation trip for our 20th wedding anniversary. As the reviews before said Brian and Ali were extremely friendly and helpful. This was a great place to stay as a base for exploring a large part of the penninsula as it is very central to... More

I'm hesitant to write about what I consider to be one of the most wonderful little resorts in America because (selfishly) I would love to keep this remote paradise a secret. The cabins are really lovely -- very clean, attractive and well-maintained. Check out the website for pictures. They are really true to life. The views are breathtaking. I'd recommend... More

The Rock House at Chito Beach is incredible! What a great view and what a super cabin! It has everything a person or couple could need. The view from the loft, window seat or the deck is heaven on earth! We have seen eagles, seals, and been visited by hummingbirds! The location is perfect and it is so quiet and... More

Context; a 3-day weekend on the Olympic Peninsula Positives: Nice rooms, grounds, beach location, easy parking Negatives: some of the rooms on the highway with large trucks passing by so if traffic at night bothers you, avoid the rooms near the highway

We surely were not disappointed when arriving in the Bird House. We spent three nights there enjoying the direct view on the beach and the confort of the cabin, even it it isn't very roomy. We didn't mind the steep stairs. We also appreciated the big gaz barbecue to cook our steak for dinner. We spent a nice evening talking... More

Chito beach resort is a very small property with a mixed variety of lodging types available. This is a place to relax and get away from it all. No Cable TV, No cell phone coverage, peace and quiet reign supreme here. Early morning walks on the beach might find you alone except for a few deer that have come down... More

Wonderful scenic location. Accomodations spotless. Owners very pleasant. We stayed in Rainforest cabin and loved it. Birds abound - eagles, goldfinches, red crossbills, various sparrows, cowbirds and more. Kitchen well stocked. Great place to stay when visiting Cape Flattery.

This resort property sits on a point directly on the Strait of Juan Defuqua looking across to Vancouver Island. Long and wide beaches run both east & west from the property which includes 5 one of a kind rental buildings with spectacular views. We stayed in The Birdhouse which is a whimsical replica of an actual bird house with all... More

My husband and I stayed in the Lighthouse cabin and were so impressed with the view and our super-friendly hosts (including Sam, the Golden Retriever that has some funny, quirky behavior). We found the cabin was very clean, comfortable, and a great location for all the hikes and day trips we did. While sitting out on our porch, we saw... More

Romantic getaway on the Straits of San Juan De Fuca. Cozy cabins on the waterfront looking across to Vancouver Island. Full kitchens, wireless internet, HDTV. Eagles, otters, whales, seals, lots of wildlife. Beautiful grounds, with lots of flowers. This is your perfect staging area for hiking, kayaking and exploring the Northwest coast of the Olympic Peninsula. We specialize in those quiet get aways, honeymoons, weddings, anniversaries, any special occasion. What we are not is a fishing resort. There are plenty of places to call home while fishing in the area. Chito Beach Resort has always been a NON fishing resort. You are welcome to bring in your fish to prepare for dinner but we do not allow ANY fish processing in the cabin or on the property. Fishing is a sport for the early bird, here at Chito Beach Resort our guests appreciate the quiet mornings. ... more   less
