I spent three weeks in Washington to hike and see the sights. After visiting the three National Parks in Washington I headed to the most northwestern point of the continental U.S. What a find!! Chito Beach Resort was perfect! Ali and Brian (the owners) make you feel right at home! Each night there is a campfire for all the guests... More

What a find! Just a handful of unique, beautifully-appointed cabins - cozy with all the modern conveniences you could want - free wifi worked great. So quiet - our deck with over-sized Adirondack chairs was just steps from the beach, which seemed to attract only the few guests at this excellent resort. Owners were most hospitable without being overly intrusive... More

Beautiful setting looking out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Cozy and quiet with all the modern amenities (TV wifi and kitchen) despite its rugged out of the way setting. The Castaway Cabin is the best.

I was surprising my husband for his birthday with a weekend getaway. Found Chito Beach online and decided to give it a try. Not knowing what to expect, I had set the bar kinda low. Well, I'm thrilled to say I was not disappointed! We stayed in the Wolf Den and it was cute and quaint--with all the comforts of... More

My husband and I were able to stay 2 nights at their cabin Castaways. The cabin is located right on the Straight and has all the comforts you need. While it is more of a studio design, the huge glass windows offer you fabulous views all over the cabin. It has an outside deck with a table and chairs. While... More

My husband and I were camping and roadtripping for nine days around the coast for our 11-months-late honeymoon, and we spent the final two days of our travels at Chito Beach Resort. Nearly immediately we kinda wished we had spent the entirety of our trip at this insanely perfect destination. We stayed in the Castaway cabin, which, as everyone else... More

My husband and I stayed at Chito Beach for two nights in July. The cabin and grounds are very well kept. The cabin was spotless! The owners take pride in their work. I was impressed that it had what one needed but not too much in the drawers to be messy. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They emphasized... More

A repeat vacation here and this special place retains its natural splendour: the painted skies, the rhythmic beat of the waves, the plentiful bird life, and the gracious hosts. Inner 'batteries' recharge from the restive nature of the place as well as through strolls around the delightful property.

3 day Castaway stay: -Huge, clean, windows that offer AMAZING sunsets and an ongoing change of scenery from EVERY room. Staring out the window becomes your favorite activity. -Proprietors were on premise for needs that arose, but never intrusive. Genuine, nice, folks. Castaway is completely private and quiet. Well equipped. -Kitchen has small frig, convection/microwave oven (bakes great!), and 2... More

This spot was an absolute dream. We spent three days in the "Castaway" cabin 30 feet from the beach. The cabin is lovely and comfortable with a stunning view of the beach. We saw whales, eagles, seals, sea otters, and more right off our deck every day we were there. The owners were super friendly and recommended several attractions that... More

Romantic getaway on the Straits of San Juan De Fuca. Cozy cabins on the waterfront looking across to Vancouver Island. Full kitchens, wireless internet, HDTV. Eagles, otters, whales, seals, lots of wildlife. Beautiful grounds, with lots of flowers. This is your perfect staging area for hiking, kayaking and exploring the Northwest coast of the Olympic Peninsula. We specialize in those quiet get aways, honeymoons, weddings, anniversaries, any special occasion. What we are not is a fishing resort. There are plenty of places to call home while fishing in the area. Chito Beach Resort has always been a NON fishing resort. You are welcome to bring in your fish to prepare for dinner but we do not allow ANY fish processing in the cabin or on the property. Fishing is a sport for the early bird, here at Chito Beach Resort our guests appreciate the quiet mornings. ... more   less
