I stayed at this hotel with a friend for two nights. It is a minimal hotel. The air conditioner and t.v. look like something out of the 1950s and the lobby is minimal. At first it shocked me, but as time went on, it grew on me. Everything did work, though you had to press a button on the aged air conditioner and there was a big table and the room was clean. The drawbacks were that they never informed us or anyone else that the name on the shuttle was jet motel whereas it was advertised as as the sandstone inn so that we were unable to take the shuttle from the airport. The shuttle did not always arrive in good time when we were returning from town and at one point we waited 40 minutes. In addition, there is nowhere to lock up your baggage on the day of departure and the only alternative was to leave it in a hallway leading to the staff bathroom. Finally, it is pretty far from the center of the city. However, despite these disadvantages, I actually liked it. It is also close to a lovely park.…
Hopefully your trip runs smoothly and you do not have to interact with their manager Claudia. Saying she's extremely rude and unfit to be a manager is an understatement. My husband booked a room here under booking.com and we were unable to make our stay, however upon checking my bank account, they had taken almost $800. Upon inquiring about this, Claudia kept insisting that they didn't take that charge, that she "contacted" their finance department, and that they had no record of the charge. No apology, no nothing. My bank requested a letter from Jet Motel with their letterhead verifying the amount they had charged so that they could release the charges made to my account. Claudia said they don't do that for customers. I asked to speak to a higher up supervisor, to which she replied "I am the supervisor." She then refused to send my bank verification, yelled, berated, and HUNG UP ON ME, throwing in a snarky remark that the booking wasn't under my name, but under my husbands? Not sure why that mattered. I then called my bank to let them know the situation and they requested that I conference call the motel in to get verbal verification. After my bank says who they are, Claudia says, "Mmm Hmm" with an obnoxious attitude and disbelief and goes on to harass my bank. Again, no apology to rectify the situation. I can't believe someone would put someone like Claudia in a managerial position let alone a to be a supervisor. She has no work ethic, no customer service skills, or any ability to problem solve.…
When this was Sandstone Inn, the rate was $5.99/day with a discount from AARP. Jet Motel took over about a month ago (19225 International Blvd). When we brought in our car for a trip from 1/13/2017- 1/22/2017, the rate was $ 9.99/day with no discounts- a huge percentage increase. When we returned our car, I noted that the rate on the readerboard was $8.99. I called and inquired and was told the rate changed on Monday 1/16 but , since the rate was $9.99 when I checked in, that was what I was charged for the entire time and that no changes could be made. NOTE: the motel next door is offering $6.99 parking
I flew in to SeaTac too late for my international connection, so stayed 2 nights unexpectedly. The people here were helpful, cordial, efficient. I used their shuttle an extra trip to pickup my luggage. Yes, this is an old motel, but let's be kind & understanding to the old, shall we? It was 2 doors down from an all night Denney's. Fit my needs for the purpose. Thank you so much!
We stayed at this motel for one night before our flight home. We chose it because it is close to the airport and much cheaper than others in the area. We wanted a bed for the night. It was clean, provided a microwave, small fridge, hot water and free wi-fi. Staff were helpful and friendly. There was also an elevator with enough space for 2 people mind luggage. Also, free transport to the airport. It does need updating, and if it were my house, new pillows, sheets, baseboards, paint and tiles. But then, it wouldn't be as cheap
