The Elliott's are the sweetest people in the whole world, and will go out of their way to make your stay special. Their B&B is a renovated 120 year old home on the Columbia River - giving you a view of a time mostly forgotten. Combine the lovely home, the beautiful views, and the wonderful breakfast - a very nice spot for a get away!
We stayed at the Dahlia House for our 24th anniversary. Brian and Linda made us feel right at home. It was more like visiting family than staying at a B&B. The food was great (make sure you get some of Brian's salsa if you go), the view is gorgeous, and it is very quiet. Looking forward to our next stay.
Go back in time to this lovely B n B in an 1895 Victorian house on the Columbia River. Off the beaten path amid a spectacular setting. Sit back and watch the ships pass by while looking at bald eagles, sea lions and osprey. The hosts are fabulous people who take excellent care of you. Be sure to sign up for the dinner too. A great value and terrific food. We had such a nice time just unplugging and relaxing. Highly recommended!
10 miles off the main road, sitting on a hill overlooking the Columbia River, you will find this wonderful B&B and it owners, Brian & Linda Elliot. If you are seeking solitude with a river front view and vessel traffic you can almost reach out and touch - this the place for you. The owners, who love lighthouses and the river, will happily share tales of their extensive travels as well as the history of their beautiful home. Two good sized bedrooms, a great breakfast, a gazebo for relaxing and just plain good old Washington hospitality are yours for a night that will beg you to return for a repeat visit.
Such history packed into this lovely home amidst a most tranquil nostalgic setting. Linda and Brian have restored this beautiful victorian (that has been in the family for five generations) with tender loving care. They are both absolutely wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make you feel welcome at their little piece of heaven on the Columbia River. Our family of four enjoyed delicious breakfasts (they even grow some of the fruits/veggies in their garden), great conversation, comfy beds, astounding river views and star gazing, marshmallow roasting by the fire pit, flower garden, sweet cats, friendly neighborhood deer, and some wonderful kayaking with Columbia River Kayaking in nearby Skamokawa, WA. It doesn't get much better! We look forward to our next trip to the Pacific NW so we can stay at Dahlia House again. Many Thanks Linda and Brian!!!…
