We have tried staying at a number of other places in the Skagit Valley with very checkered results....mostly bad. The Totem Trail Motel has far and away been the best of the lot at a fair price. This is an updated 1950's motel that receives daily TLC. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owners even wash the...

Loved our weekend with Sonia and Bob. Felt like visitng family. Bob even got a campfire going for us one night! Beautiful to watch stars, snow covered ground, evergreen trees by moonlight and firelight. Very comfortable good sized rooms. Our had two rocking chairs. Coffeemaker in room, lots of hot water, plenty of clean fresh linen, comfortable beds, lots of...

This place is a no frills rustic walls and a roof style room. It makes you feel like your visiting family that you actually like that treats you like they care. If you need 5 star then you may not like this. It was perfect for the family that wants to reconnect with nature and have the feeling of camping...

Stayed here over a year ago. After a day of whale watching we arrived very very late at night and no one was around. Low and behold we drove over to the rooms and there was a large sign on the motel room door with our name on it. We step inside to a warm friendly room with a candle...

After a day in beautiful North Cascades National Park, the Totem Trail Motel offered excellent accommodates for our one-night stay. This is an old-school, motor-court type of property, but it has been updated nicely and is more than adequate. Our room was nicely prepared and exceptionally clean. The owner provided various kitchen supplies, like knives and forks, paper plates and...

This is a small, 8-unit motel, we stayed in room 5. The rooms are fair sized but have a lot of furniture in them. There is a very soft queen bed, an over stuffed chair and ottoman with an end table, a TV and free wifi and a floor fan. A separate table serves as the kitchen area hosting a...

This place is a great gateway to the Cascades. We liked how Sonja had thought of everything, She made us welcome and explained everything when we arrived. We appreciated this. It's a clean place at a very good price with proper hospitality. Also: The BBQ area has been nicely thought through. We ate there on several occasions (with local organic...

Located near the entrance of the North Cascades it's a great choice. Must say if it wasn't for Trip Advisor I would have passed. It had a number of good reviews. Small clean comfortable good choice. Kind of like staying at home the owner does everything themselves

We stayed a few nights for visiting the Norht Cascades National Park. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The wifi connection was on our first evening not so good, the next nights were a lot better (for whatever reason). The bed was comfortable. One con is that you here almost everything in the room next to...

One of the least pricey places we stayed on our 10-day trip to the Seattle area, and you get what you pay for. Room was very modest, with no fridge in the room (there is one outside, that must be 50 years old easily, with a rusty door and creaky handle), and just a shower (and a very small one...
