We absolutely love Roche Harbor and this was our first stay at the Quarryman. It's modem with good amenities. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the marina which was a great place to sit with a cup of coffee or a drink watching things go on. The spa was also a very good experience

Having never ventured past Friday Harbor on San Juan Island...we decided to stay at Quarryman Hall at the historic Hotel de Haro / Roche Harbor Resort. We were NOT disappointed ... AT ALL ! Andrew - the nite mgr - and the rest of the staff were FABULOUS ! Their helpfulness & warm friendliness made our stay a pleasure !...

An old fashioned lodge with fireplace in the lobby, quaint setting for spending a night or a week. The views are panoramic and picturesque of the marina with town in the foreground. This place one of a few hotels Roche Harbor had to offer. Sightseeing and small shoppes are available for browsing. Easy to get to by car with a...

We stayed at the Quarryman Hall for New Year's. The suite is new and high-end. Roche Harbor in the winter is devoid of tourists and vendors, so if you like a quiet place without hustle and bustle, this is the place to come at the end/beginning of the calendar year. The locals are very friendly so it is easy to...

We used a groupon on the week of Thanksgiving and mostly had the whole resort to ourselves - except for the wonderfully kind staff of course. We were giving a massive suite in the building at Roche Harbor called Quarryman's Hall, which is all suites like ours. It was so cozy with the fireplace, sitting area, and balcony - which...

I was upgraded from a room in the De Haro to one in the Quarryman on my last visit. While I like the De Haro and have no problem with sharing a bath I welcomed the upgrade. I travel a lot for work and have stayed in some of the poshest hotels around the world. The room rivaled some of...

My Wife and I decided on Roche Harbor / Quarryman Hall for our Wedding Anniversary; not one regret! The room & bathroom were the size of most common folks home all in one. The room and the scenery were breath taking. Morning sunrises over the quiet Marina, and the spectacular sunsets in the evening (why would you ask for anything...

I won a 'weekend getaway' from a local radio station that including a stay with Roche Harbor. I was lucky enough to land in Quarryman Hall which is just beautiful. My room was glorious. Deluxe King bed, gorgeous view (in the front was the harbor and right next to me was the lime kilns) and just about everything you could...

The room was beautiful, comfortable, spacious and had a wonderful view. The service was EXCELLENT My (now) fiancé booked a weekend at Quarryman Hall for us and I decided to propose to her at dinner. I called the managers of the hotel and the adjacent McMillan's Dining room to help set up a surprise proposal. Candace, Cindy, Brent, Mary-Ann, Jodi,...

“The old hotel is charming, but since it was built in 1884 it is a bit shy in room amenities. We stayed in the newly constructed Quarryman Hall, which offered huge rooms with great views. We stayed in the front (west side), all of which are large corner suites.”
