My husband & I and our adult son with a disability Stayed here for 5 nights. We have a 39 ft. RV . We had sewer, water & electric hookups. No showers but does have a bathroom.
Big roomy spaces in the pine trees. Beautiful pond, where in days past they had a U fish business. Not currently offered. No bother, we LOVED this place.
Close by a few feet from our trailer there are walking trails that lead to a river. Beautiful and peaceful.
The property is 8 acres of pine needle beds to walk and park your RV on.
Numerous buildings that have charm and character much like the owners (who are in their 70's & 80's respectively).
The owners are very kind people who obviously love what they do and make you feel like family. They are very knowledgeable about the area & helpful with maps & trails.
I hated to leave. But we had to push on for other National Parks.
This is a hidden gem. If you're looking to unplug and enjoy being off your cell, this is the place. If you need to check your cell, you can head down towards Randle about 15 minutes & find service.
I will be back here. It's a paradise ! It's one of those places that feels " right". And you immediately feel peaceful.

If you have to send a quick text, the owners will help you out, but otherwise, no signal, no WiFi. Very nice hosts/owners and the grass was nice and short. Pond on the property so our bug zapper got a work out. Recommend mosquito spray, but that is true of everywhere in summer! There are roads so walking is fine, but no trails without traveling to them. Bathrooms were fine-not great and not big but clean enough. NO showers. Extra fee to dump and 2.6% fee if you use your credit card to pay. It was very quiet even though there was a large family gathering at the park. Hosts very responsive to questions.

Our family have camped off/on at this campground for years. Pam & Jim are wonderful hosts. There is no shower, but they do have flush toilets and running water. WiFi is spotty but the hosts will let you use the landline if needed. Stock up at the grocery store in Randle (about 30min from Tower Rock) as the campground only sells firewood and ice. Amazing views and not far from St Helens.

We reserved this park because it was in between Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Ranier, although it was closer to the former. We didn't know that it didn't have wifi, cable or ANY cell coverage without driving at least 15 miles or more to get a signal.

The lot we were assigned was not level and was only dirt, without even any grass or gravel. It was supposed to be a pullthru, and we paid extra for it, but due to trees on both sides being too close to the coach, there was no way we could drive forward, and when leaving, we backed up.

The owner said his wife took care of all the finances and she was out of town. He didn't know how to even print me a receipt when I checked out. Because of the lack of cell service or wifi, we chose to leave two days early. I had already lost a business client because of the lack of ability to contact me and I didn't want to take a chance of losing more.

This park is difficult to get to with winding roads. Two of the three reasons we chose this park were closed. The owner told me the road to Mt. St. Helens was not plowed and still could not be driven due to snow unless I wanted to drive 125 miles to the southern entrance. And, the pond for fishing was closed.

Overall, this was the worst RV park I have ever stayed in with no close seconds.

We have visited this place for 5 years now. Very nice and relaxing. Owners are very accommodating. It is a very peaceful place, far enough from all the noise. There is a WiFi and hot water, but you can choose to rough it. Fishing is great and a lot of fun, no license needed. Owner gives you a lesson and cleans the fish. Fire wood and ice are available for purchase.

Owners were super nice and accommodating... even offered to let me use their personal land-line if I needed it because my cell phone had no service and silly me relied on it for a wedding there. I had a difficult time figuring out where the wedding was and the owners were super helpful in helping me find out. Grounds were kept clean and eclectic antique decor. The bathrooms were clean and stocked always. So close to the water and it had its own little water pond... cute. The sites were spacious. And the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Such a relaxing place. Sadly I did not fish (not enough time in my stay) so I cannot comment on that but I saw others and really wanted to.
