My wife and I took our first trip to this area in the Olympic National Park. We were amazed at the charm and view of the lake from our room. The huge fireplace provided an relaxed and cozy area that we enjoyed both evenings of our stay. In addition, the restaurant in the lodge had excellent food and the service...

My wife and I spent 4 days at Lake Quinault Lodge at the end of January / beginning of February. We had travelled from Scotland to attend a wedding at the lodge. We stayed in a fireplace room with a lake view which was wonderful. We walked in the rain forest in wet and dry weather and it was a...

3rd trip to the lodge. First stay in refurbished fireplace room which are excellent. The Salmon House 1 mile down the road has the best salmon I have ever had. Baked with creamy dill sauce. Food at lodge expensive and pedestrian. Lovely location.Wifi spotty.

It was the perfect 3 day mid-week get away spot. The price was right and our fireplace room worked for us with a beautiful view of the lake from our deck. Comfy bed, but the pillows were mushy. The first night in the dining room the seafood shipment hadn't arrived that day, but the crab cakes were available and very...

Three couples were exhausted on arrival, checked into room for a 3 day stay. Was soon down in the big open common area off the lobby. Amazing what a glass of wine does to reenergize. We enjoyed playing games, also. The grounds complemented the historic old lodge nicely. Plenty of places to relax and read or just enjoy the views.

This was our last stop on our trip to the US. We stayed for three nights in a fireside room with balcony. It was a decent sized room with comfortable chairs. A little tired looking, but clean and welcoming. Decent bed. You look out on to the trees and lake. The location is brilliant. You are lakeside. We swam in...

We stayed 2 nights in a renovated lakeside room! 3rd floor ( top). Room was beautifully done, did have a tv unlike most National Park lodges, no phone. There is free wifi and cell service was good ( Verizon). One of the more expensive options of rooms. The overall lodge and grounds are beautiful, lots of birds with feeders outside...

We have stayed here several times, usually in the winter when the rates are lower or there is a special deal. The lodge is a lovely old building and we prefer the main lodge rooms for their historic character even though they are smaller, noisier, and have fewer amenities than the newer wings. We usually end up turning off the...

We went with our extended family right before Christmas and decided it was the perfect time to go. We didn't have to deal with the crowds that we've heard/read about that are there in the summer. With the paper thin walls, I'm not sure how people can get sleep in the summer with so many people. It's not that guests...

To start with the positives, the location is beautiful, located right on one of the top trails in the park, and the lodge building is charming and with history. But ... unfortunately the place is ruined by poor management and a lack on investment. Our room felt like a sad run-down motel, with cheap and uninspired furnishings that have not...
