The Mt Walker Inn is an interesting, homey place. We spent 3 nights in room #12, the closest to the office. It was actually a lot of fun. Despite other older reviews on the I'net, we had a bar size refrigerator, microwave, large screen TV, king sized bed and free adequate WiFi. We were greeted warmly. The owner has two... More

We stayed here the night before our hike to lake of the angels. The owner was super sweet and helpful! The inn is cute, charming and clean! We had a wonderful visit here and will be back on our next trip up this way.

My "wing man" and I arrived early on a very wet afternoon via motorcycles. The innkeeper welcomed us and even moved her car out of the garage so we could park our machines in the dry. She had the room ready for us, assisted in securing dinner and was most gracious. The property is well kept, the rooms spotless and... More

Our family booked a night on our way up to Canada, and we loved how friendly Chrissy was! The rooms were cozy, clean, and the free wi-fi was a great plus! There are some great restaurants in the town and a playground for the kids all within walking distance. The locals are super kind, and very helpful! Recommended to anyone... More

The lady in the office, Kathy was not very friendly. The room was clean, freshly painted, but sparsely furnished. No coffee maker, no microwave, no refrigerator. Tile floor, no carpet, which was very cold in February! Small table and chairs, bed, and one picture. It could be decorated with a charming touch! The grounds are very well kept, little orchard,... We stayed here for one night to take a hike the next day. It's a decent place, but pretty basic. It caters to pets, which I'm somewhat allergic to, and didn't seem to have a non-pet room. The walls are a little thin. But there are some decent restaurants nearby, the staff was helpful, and it did the job for... More

The place is clean, easy to find and absolutely charming! There are friendly cats on the property, one sweet friendly pup who lives with the owner, and our room had a view out back that was beautiful. Mountains I the distance and behind us was a happy brown horse named Cocoa and a sheep named Flip. Clean, comfortable, Very quiet,... More

The only spot in town could easily be a lousy spot in town, but not this place. Our room had the bare minimum, but it was clean and obviously well-cared for. I'm giving this four stars like I would stay here again in a heartbeat four stars...not four stars for the luxury spa at the Ritz. The people are super-friendly... More

We've stayed at this place 3 different times over about a ten year period. We use it as a well-located base camp for hiking Mt. Townsend. We're quite pleased with this place. Our room had a kitchenette, which we didn't even use but might be handy for some. Only negative thing I might say is that the shower stall is... More

When you're just looking for a clean, simple and affordable place to rest your head, the Mount Walker Inn delivers. Although the rooms aren't newly renovated or decked out with modern decor, they are extremely clean. We had a very restful night in this quiet location. Would stay again.
