Surrounded by the rolling hills of the Palouse and situated in the center of the most charming town in Eastern Washington, Hotel McCoy Pullman offers the warm hospitality of a cozy lodge and the modern amenities of a cosmopolitan art hotel, all within walking distance of WSU (we're exactly 267 paces away. Pullman is a breath of fresh air, figuratively and literally. Enjoy a slice of our pace of life while you're here. Once you check-in, you're within walking distance of some of the best eateries, iconic coffee shops, and boutique shopping in the state of Washington. Absolutely love this place. It's so convenient to campus and Greek Row. Easy walk to my daughter's apartment but far enough away from some of the college revelry. Staff are the best part, very kind and helpful! Stayed here many times and never disappointed.

A fun, quirky place to stay, that's for sure! We were in room 11 on the second floor (be aware, there is no elevator) and really enjoyed the room. All rooms are decorated differently by different artists and so is the lobby/wine bar/breakfast room. The room had a retro feel to it, was nice and bright and a good size. We had a fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker; coffee and tea are available in the lobby. A chalkboard and chalk were on the back of the door, so if one was so inclined, you could leave some artwork behind. There were some games in the room and a nice table and chairs to sit. The instructions on the A/C were not good at all and it was loud and blowing like crazy all night; even though the bed was very comfortable, the noise didn't make for good sleeping (I told the lady at the front desk in the morning about it and she explained to me how to work it). Check-in by Cody was super nice and he took very good care of us during the evening while we were enjoying a glass (or two) of wine on their covered porch, sitting by the firepit and getting to know fellow guests. The outside spaces are great! The hotel is on a one way street, across from a gas station and a restaurant, as well as a sandwich shop. Traffic noise was a bit of an issue, but not bad. In the morning we had an oatmeal buffet (already cooked oatmeal and a ton of toppings to put on); very fun and filling. Yes, we would stay there again!

Thank you so much for this amazing review. Cody is one of our rockstars when it comes to guest interactions and we enjoy having him on our team. I appreciate the feedback on the AC instructions and will make a point to make them easier to understand. Our location is in the heart of downtown Pullman and is convenient for walking to near by shops and local coffee shops. Our coffee is locally roasted and we grind the beans fresh each morning and we enjoy the experience of seeing our guests each day. We cannot wait for you to return for a visit and see us again!

I took my wife to Pullman so I could show her WSU, where I went to college. I let her pick where we would stay, and she chose Hotel McCoy. It was the absolute perfect choice! My wife has heard me talk about the hospitality in Pullman for 6 years, and that hospitality was evident immediately at arrival. We had a warm greeting by Eric, the front desk manager. He was very personable, kind, and helpful. You would be hard pressed to find a more genuine person working at hotels! The room was spotless and fun, with lots of local touches in the art and compendium. It’s amazing to see what was once a gross motel be a modern and clean hotel now! We were a few minutes away from campus and anywhere downtown as well, so it was a prime location. Hotel McCoy provides free drink tokens on arrival, and supplies a wonderful breakfast of oatmeal and pop tarts in the morning. The room had options for streaming services (don’t worry, they’ll automatically log you out when you depart of check out day!) as well as a really fun classic NES. We had lots of fun making doodles on the notepads provided and using chalk on the in-room chalkboard. Hotel McCoy even has a gym equipped with Peloton bikes and a Peloton Mirror! We are so excited to go back and will stay at Hotel McCoy for all our trips. And, seriously, Eric is the best!

The room was nicely furnished BUT the water pressure was set very low, the air conditioner cycled loudly all night, The window opened but the screen didn't completely cover the open space plus the traffic was audible , the breakfast was just oatmeal variations, kiddie juice and coffee. We were very disappointed because your site rated it a 9 and it was a 1!! The art was interesting.

We're sorry for this disappointing experience and appreciate your feedback because it is not typical or up to our par. We'd like to investigate further, if you could be so kind to email us your reservation number. As a token of our gratitude, we'd like to offer a small thank-you. While our "World's Longest Oatmeal Bar" with local coffee, fresh fruits, and pop tarts may not have met your preferences, we're happy to recommend the coffee shop across the parking lot, Roost, for delicious bagels (the cranberry spread on jalapeño bagel- ooooheee) and hot breakfast choices. We hope you'll give us another chance to provide an exceptional experience in the future.

Super cute hotel, with a retro vibe. Very kitchy. The hotel is well maintained as well as our room. The room was very clean, and well decorated. Little things like a small shelf of crystals, a black board on the back of the door and a pack of colored chalk. The mini fridge and microwave were retro in design and color. USB plugs on both sides of the bed. The bed were very comfortable. The pillows are pretty good, but I like a squishier feel. There are two patio's to see outside and talk, have a coffee or a glass of wine There are a couple of fire tables, chess and checker boards. You can see a lot of love went into the design, and bringing back an older motel up to date and beautiful. One thing, is that you can hear the road noise, but it wasn't that bad, and not a deal breaker. We would stay here again.

Hotel McCoy in Pullman is so charming! And has the friendliest staff I've ever met in a hotel! I can't say enough good things about this cute hotel. The porch with the fireplaces was amazing, there are games galore, the art is beautiful, the drinks and food are delicious, the rooms have everything you can need, the beds are super comfortable and the TVs are huge. The staff are the ultimate highlight. I keep thinking I should plan another trip to Pullman just to stay here!! Can't wait to stay again.

My husband and I visited Hotel McCoy in June of this year and were initially attracted to the price, thinking it was too good to be true especially in the location it was in! Let me you, we were SO HAPPY with our choice! From the cleanliness of the room, to the location (one street away from the main road), to the welcoming staff and the amenities (did you know you can rent a bike!?) our stay was memorable. We will definitely be choosing Hotel McCoy the next time we are in Pullman!

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel McCoy in Pullman, Washington while visiting friends in the area. Life in the area centers around Washington State University and makes things lively and interesting. The hotel was expertly renovated providing all the modern comforts in a retro designed hotel. It is a nice break from the many chain hotels in the area. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. The staff is courteous, friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.

So thoughtfully and charmingly decorated, our rooms were cozy and comfortable. Charming work from a local artist brings it all to life. Staff are extremely friendly and made great restaurant recommendations. Oatmeal bar is delicious and coffee is great. Planning to try a grilled cheese tomorrow. Had adult beverages in the evening too. Just overall a well updated motel style hotel that made our visit to Pullman wonderfully warm and welcoming. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I almost selfishly don't want to write a review to keep this gem of a place a secret! But sharing is caring so let me just say, as a hotelier working the industry over 20 plus years it was really nice to see and feel so refreshed by the hotel and staff. Such a great place, so clean with so many unexpected pleasures. If your in Pullman you'll love staying at the McCoy.
