I stayed this past weekend with my girlfriend and her kids, there were also over 100 high school kids that were bussed up to look at the University. The guy who checked us in and was there at nights was AWESOME. While there were was a LOT of noise, and he was very helpful did as much as he could to help us. My girlfriend also called down quite a few times to request items that she forgot, and he personally brought them up. I wish I could remember his name. The breakfast was okay, but I suppose that's expected with Hamptons. It looked like the first floor was under construction but the lady I spoke to at check out said they were almost done. We will be back, hopefully on a quieter weekend.

Hotel's Favorite
We visited family in Pullman over Christmas and the Holiday Inn Express was the most convenient location. We were very pleased! First, the staff at the hotel was terrific! Santina, the breakfast attendant, was extremly friendly and helpful and made everyone feel very welcome. The housekeeping staff was flawless and we enjoyed the Keurig coffee pot in the room plus the fact the heating system worked very well! I loved spending time in the pool and jacuzzi with my granddaughter. Our only complaint might be the overripe breakfast bananas without many fruit options.

This is a very nice property that should meet all reasonable requirements for any traveler looking for affordable but safe, clean, pleasant, comfortable lodging. Note that when I give 5 stars, I am providing a rating of my experience, with consideration of price paid. That's a little different from the notion of a "5 star hotel" (nobody will confuse HI Express with a Four Seasons). I'm not sure when this hotel was constructed, but it looks and feels "new-ish". It checks all the boxes: comfortable bedding and linens, pleasant and welcoming lobby (despite some construction/ remodeling), competent and friendly desk staff. It was quiet with the exception of some construction noise, which of course is a temporary matter (I am writing this review in October 2023), but construction noise could be of concern to those who plan to occupy their room during daytime hours (if this applies to you, I might suggest proactively asking the hotel to put you in a room far from the construction area). I did not have time to use them, but the pool and fitness center seemed nice. The hotel offered milk & cookies in the evening, and a typical Holiday Inn Express complimentary breakfast including a few hot items and the famous decadent, warm, gooey cinnamon rolls (those wishing to watch their intake of sweets will need strong willpower to avoid having more than one). There is one little thing this hotel does that is so basic and simple and helpful, and I wish more hotels did it: in the room was a printed list of all the TV channels. I arrived on a Monday evening and wanted to get into the room and catch the end of the Monday Night Football game (Packers-Raiders), and was glad I did not need to scroll through the channels to find the local ABC affiliate . . . and then later the same when I wanted to catch the news on CNN. I also appreciated that the in-room mini refrigerator had a small freezer compartment so that I could re-freeze the ice blocks I use with my cooler. The location is relatively convenient to WSU, though not within walking distance. The hotel has a shuttle van; I saw it but did not use it; they supposedly provide complimentary transportation within a 10-mile radius. I appreciate that this hotel is dog-friendly. My pooch slept very soundly. She asked me to say that she gives the hotel "4 paws" (she'd give 5 paws but she has only 4 legs).

Unfortunately when we booked this hotel online, there was no indication that major renovations were taking place. The pool, fitness center, and laundry room was not available for use. The breakfast area was under construction also, but they provided sack breakfast options instead. The ice machine ran out of ice because only one was available for use. The staff made the best of the situation, but it was noisy during the construction. I wish they noted the plans for construction when I made my reservations. The property definitely needs an update, but maybe it should have been done during COVID lockdowns.

This hotel was really nice with spacious lobby, lots of outdoor seating too. There's also the equipment to even have a bbq. Parking is plentiful. The room was nice sized. The gym advertised a peloton, but it was out of order. Otherwise, the gym seemed quite good. The indoor pool was also fun to use. Even though we had a car, it was nice to be able to walk across the street to the Chinese restaurant for dinner. There's a froyo/cupcake store in that shopping center too. Milk and cookies were available for a time at night. The free breakfast had lots of types of food and included one of those cool pancake printers. would love to stay here again.

Overall, a good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel clean and well located. It was very quiet. Breakfast was the typical premade buffet and is the only meal service available at the hotel. There is no bar or restaurant. Good parking and located near some other services including restaurants. We had some trouble with our air conditioning and the engineer was there in moments to fix it for us. Downsides: no safe in the rooms and no make-up mirror in the bathrooms.

This hotel was perfect for us. We visited in Aug 2021 andJan 2022. We loved visiting at both times of the year. We had a standard room and one bedroom with a fireplace. It is a spacious room for a family of 3 or 4. I love that there is free breakfast, indoor pool and jacuzzi, gym, outdoor area for kids to play, bbq grills, nice patio, and free parking. The location is close to walmart, safeway, other eateries, and wsu. This is our go to spot in Pullman!

Clean, spacious rooms! The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Customer service was amazing from the time I walked in the door to the time I left. Brand new workout facility and a full hot breakfast! Very nice outdoor seating area! Additionally, I left my AirPods in the room and when I called the front desk, the housekeeping staff had turned them in and the hotel is mailing them to my house. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and very close to the WSU campus. We were very comfortable here and the hotel is well maintained. Checking in and out was super quick and friendly. The lobby area was well kept, and we enjoyed the pool area. It was a good-sized pool and hot tub, and not too busy. They provided fresh cookies nightly which was a hit. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Everything was stocked well in the bathroom. We had a mini fridge, but it took a good day to get real cold. It had a very small freezer section as well. Did have to ask for extra pillows. No safe in the room. TV was big. It was very quiet as well. The breakfast offered was nice but nothing special. Disappointed in the eggs and pancakes but there was a variety of items to choose from so usually I just stick with the cereals, breads and fruit. Juice and coffee were good and their cinnamon rolls are awesome. There was a constant staff presence keeping everything stocked and wiped down. Always a good experience at the Holiday Inn for us so would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed here twice since October of 2021 and each time has been excellent! We love the milk and cookies that they serve in the evening. We also enjoy the indoor pool and spa (my 12 year old sons favorite part). The room is nice and the bed is cozy. The free breakfast in the morning is better than most continental breakfasts. Actual hot food that tastes good, not just muffins and cold cereal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again when we are visiting our daughter at college. Go Cougs!
