Detailed Reviews
This is the second time we have stayed at the Ravenscroft Inn and we were delighted to stay there again. It is a truly exceptional and lovely B&B on many levels. Our room was cozy, and spotless with all sorts of small and thoughtful touches even including packages of ear plugs and throws for sitting outside on the veranda. The location is very quiet and just a short walk from the waterfront, restaurants, and stores. The heart and soul of Ravenscroft Inn is the owner, Pauline. She is a truly unique host who anticipates every need, creating and serving delicious and unique breakfasts each day while providing all sorts of advice about Port Townsend. We loved coming back from our adventures to find different home made delights each day – cookies, cakes, and all sorts of other goodies. We look forward to staying with her again as we return to Port Townsend!

Ravenscroft was probably the best B&B we have stayed at in years of traveling.
We stayed in the "Fireplace" room. Very clean, nicely appointed, access to balcony and all the amenities that we wouldn't normally find in a room. Bed and pillows very comfortable.
Pauline is very personable in her attention to detail for providing guests everything they might need for a perfect stay and to feel at home. She is an excellent cook and the breakfast was perfect.
Ravenscroft is also in a perfect location for accessing both Old Town and the Waterfront sections of Port Townsend

The best part of visiting Port Townsend is always our stay at the Ravenscroft Inn and this past weekend attending the PT Film Festival was no exception. In fact, I believe it was the best ever! My husband and I always enjoy the immaculate, comfortable and welcoming environment of the Bay room at Ravenscroft and then awakening to Pauline's incredibly tasty home made breakfast custom adapted to my food allergies....always perfect!! However, the best part of staying at Ravenscroft is the 5 star service one receives....this was exemplified when I forgot an important item upon departure and Pauline quickly notified me of this and with loving care notified and then FedExed it to me. Pauline, my husband & I are already looking forward to our next visit to Ravenscroft...again many hugs and our appreciation for your Hospitality! Charlotte & Gordon Davis

Pauline has impeccable taste. Her home is so clean and beautiful. She has a gift of service and does it well. She communicates by text and that was great to give her updates of our arrival or any changes. Once we arrived, we smelled a sweet aroma from the granola she was baking for tomorrow. The house smelled like a sweet dessert and very inviting.
Her breakfast were wonderful and we had home made granola with yogurt, fresh fruits, baked peach with a sweet walnut crumble, chicken sausage, orange/cranberry juice, and Italian frittata (egg with peppers, onions, basil, and parmesan). My daughter liked her coffee and we chose oat milk as a cream. Breakfast on the second day was home made granola with yogurt, fresh fruits, eggs with smoked salmon with cheese. Everything was pretty and presented with elegance. She can accommodate your food alternatives if you request it. The dish wares were so cute and makes me feel like I'm in a Michelin star restaurant.
We were excited to taste her cookies during the afternoon. The cookies were delicious and we will need to come back for more. The double chocolate cookies were yummy so try to have one and not scarf down so much. lol
We loved the gas fireplace with the remote control and the guest kitchen area was great for those who need a microwave/fridge and she had cold water/tea available. Our room had a coffee machine/tea but we enjoyed the hot coffee during breakfast.
The guest den is a relaxing room to read or do some work on a laptop. Each room was just magnificent and felt like staying in a beautiful home than an Inn.
It was quiet, relaxing and we want to come back to visit again. I recommend Ravenscroft Inn to anyone who enjoys home made cooking, a warm and welcoming environment.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Port Townsend for a wedding. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was amazing and nutritious, not your average continental hotel breakfast.
The Inn manager was attentive to our needs and unlocked our room for us when we locked ourselves out, she was very quick to respond to my message and helped right away!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. This bed and breakfast was so quaint but also updated so it didn’t feel like things were unclean. I’m very picky about cleanliness and I was very satisfied with how clean everything was. We had a view of the water from our room, but next time I would choose one with a fireplace if I go in the fall or winter. (I think the fireplace would add to the coziness).
This stay was walking distance from the Farmer’s Market and walking distance from town. It was perfect.
If I had to be picky about anything it is about how thin the walls were, but I guess that’s what the complimentary ear plugs in the bathroom are for! I would still stay at the Ravenscroft again the next time I come to Port Townsend.

Thank you so much for staying with us and writing a lovely review. My housekeepers and I are very meticulous about cleaning.. we take over 2 hours to clean each room and make sure it is perfect for our guests. Yes, we have 4 rooms with fireplace's and these surly are the most popular in the winter... all of which have great views too by the way:) We hope if your travel plans bring you to PT you will choose to stay with us again. In the meantime have a safe and happy holiday season. Regards, Pauline

My husband and I stayed at the Ravenscroft in Port Townsend WA for 7 days. The B&B is immaculately clean. Pauline who runs the inn obviously has a depth of experience as she has thought of everything a guest could need. Breakfasts were creative and delicious. There is a guest refrigerator if you want to store treats like ice cream, but Pauline makes treats such as lavender shortbread cookies daily. Our Fireside room was large and comfortably furnished and the French doors open onto the 2nd floor verandah. The three rooms that open onto the verandah each have two side chairs and a table plus a lounge chair. The inn and neighborhood are quiet and relaxing. We would highly recommend the Ravenscroft to anyone who wants to rejuvenate. It was a lovely stay.

We have stayed at the Ravenscroft Inn for our wedding anniversary for the last five years. It is also New Year's Eve and day. We have stayed in three different rooms and all have been lovely. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spotless, and during covid times the staff is very conscious about not coming into the rooms but leave anything we might need or ask for outside the door. Each morning a hot breakfast is served in the beautiful dining room. We love it here!

After a 60 mile bike journey up starting in Seattle's Fremont district, ferry across to Bainbridge, then up skirting Poulsbo to Port Gamble and on to Port Townsend, we were overjoyed to find such an enchanting, welcoming, and comfortable spot to recharge. The inn's location offers a quick walk to Aldritch's Market and the classic Uptown Pub. Our room was elegant and very well appointed, and the innkeeper graciously offered us an early breakfast so we could make our ferry to Friday Harbor the next morning. Can't wait for our next visit!

We stayed two nights in early May 2022. This Bed and Breakfast was wonderful “across the board.”The Parking was easy with plenty of room to get in and out. The broad front steps were covered with elegant rubber treads that gave us sure footing, even in the rain. The hostess met us at the front door with all amenities quickly and clearly explained, including the breakfast menu.
We stayed in the Admiralty Suite. This room has a nice view of Admiralty Inlet. The bed was suburb as was the gas fireplace and bay window seat. Plenty of room and comfortable Morris chairs were nice for relaxing. The room was very quiet with no sound from our neighbors.
Each breakfast was different and prepared when we arrived. Both meals were gourmet and far more than we expected. The kitchen is open to the dining room and immaculately clean.
All aspects of our stay were carefully thought out. Snacks and relevant local history books were available in the library. We were able make hot tea in the evening with the hot water kettles available in the hallway. We had a refrigerator in our room to keep ice, cold water and wine. The espresso machine was a nice touch and an upgrade from the usual plastic appliance. The expresso tasted great in the morning. I’m sure there were more thoughtful touches that we didn’t have time to discover, as well.
Our hostess and her assistant were friendly, helpful and always professional. My wife and I highly recommend the Ravenscroft Inn.

Great stay! Pauline's breakfasts were tastefully prepared & she remembered wife's gluten issues in preparation. Room was comfortable & clean. Gardens/lawns were beautifully maintained. The location of the inn was ideal - walked to town in 7 minutes & charged my EV at the church parking lot 3 blocks away. This was a perfect relaxing getaway and we're returning in the fall.

I don’t think so but they weren’t necessary. This place is awesome.
All of our guest rooms have roller shades that help to darken the room.
We have very fast and reliable Wifi but no hardwired network plugs.
It is a short 4 block walk but it does require climbing up the bluff. It takes about 6 minutes or less to walk the distance.
Pure maple syrup is used for the sweetener. Perhaps that is it.
