This October visit was our second Fall stay at Chevy Chase Beach Cabins. Last year we stayed in the Clubhouse, which was wonderful. We loved the gas fireplace. Jeff and Jenn provided extra “dog towels” for our fur babies which was a blessing after a walk down the trail to the beach. This year we stayed in Cabin 4. We were met by Jeff who welcomed us back like family. Cabin 4 has the amazing views overlooking Discovery Bay and the sunsets are spectacular! We didn’t bring our dogs this year and just enjoyed the restful, peace and quiet. The cabins are well maintained and spotless and the beds are oh so comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need except for the food! The coffee supplied is perfect. The little extras made our stay perfect. We love the history of this place as well as the beauty. It is truly a magical experience!…
Stayed here for the first time this weekend. My family was in both the Homestead cabin as well as I stayed in one of the smaller cabins. The cabins have everything you could need for a fun weekend and the property is beautiful as well as the view. Typically when I come to Port Townsend, I stay downtown. But I really enjoyed staying out of town but being able to go downtown for dinner with a quick drive.
For my 60th birthday my husband booked Cabin 4, right on the bluff, with stunning views. We live about 10 minutes away, and had passed here numerous times and loved the grounds. What I particularly like is the history of the place and the way the current owners are continuing a very long, since the 19th century, tradition of hospitality and inn keeping. Well appointed roomy, charming space. I haven't played badminton in years. It was great!
Our first stay at Chevy Chase, but it certainly won’t be our last! From the moment you arrive you sense the tranquility of the property. Being welcomed by Jenn is like being welcomed by family. The property gives you a sense of taking a step back in time. We stayed in cabin 10, which is tiny, but has everything you need, including a beautiful view to enjoy while having your morning coffee! Jenn and Jeff, keep doing what you’re doing and we look forward to our next visit!
We needed a place close to home while our house had some work done on it. CC is but five minutes from my home, but while I was there, it felt like home! We stayed in Meadow House, situated on an adjacent property to the main cabins, and couldn't have been more pleased. The home is cozy, spacious, and spotlessly clean; it also has a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The hosts provided firewood, and were available if we had the slightest need. Meadow House overlooks a pastoral scene of pond and pasture. My mornings were almost surreal, sitting by the woodstove, enjoying a cup of tea, watching the mist rise from the pond. I hated to leave and look forward to returning as soon as possible. Thank you for a magical experience
