Lovely old hotel built about 1895. Large rooms, many with kitchens. Furnished with old victorian furniture, a bit eclectic. But uneven service. One room had all the kitchen dish ware (glasses and wine glasses) as well as plastic glasses in bathroom, the next room had neither. One room ran out of toilet paper not replaced by maids and no facial...

We stayed here five days in Room 2. The people at the desk were friendly, it's definitely a "mom and pop" hotel, so I would probably call them if I needed to check in late. For business travel, they can't generate an email receipt, and the best receipt we got was the paper from the little card machine. Not a...

We had three nights in suite 19, a large corner suite and socharming, with tall windows looking out on the town of Port Townsend, new carpet, antique-esque furniture in a vintage brick building. Suite 19 has a kitchen (note to chefs, no microwave) so we had breakfast at our own dining table each morning. There's a small view of the...

We spent 2 days here in the top floor room, suite 16, and loved it! There were two day beds and a separate room with a very comfortable queen sized bed. A full kitchen, a very large bathroom and antique furniture throughout the suite made it a beautiful experience. Mary at the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming. The...

We stayed here for one night after arriving on the flight into Seattle. We were late arriving but helpfully the proprietor opened up for us. The room we booked was plenty big enough for the four of us although it was up three flights of stairs(I knew this on booking however!) room had character and had everything we needed. Could...

Yes, it's a beautiful and charming place, but you need to bring your own alarm clock or have your cell phone set up to give you a wake-up call. The front desk took about 2 hours to find a clock for us and it must have come from the basement in it's 1950's glory. There's also no coffee pot and...

Don't expect a modern convention hotel, just a wonderfully funky historic place. We stayed in an upstairs room with a private bathroom and a huge amount of room for the three of us, right on the water. It felt like we were in the early 20th Century, but everything was clean and comfortable.Make sure you see this place in on...

My husband and I loved this place. We stayed in room 5, the deck and view was wonderful. The king bed was very comfy. Very high ceiling and huge windows. The decor was worn but the location and view great. Wish we could stay longer.

My brother and I have been staying at the Waterstreet Hotel for over a decade each year when we go to the Centrum Jazz Festival. This is a wonderful place to stay if you like Victorian atmosphere, clean rooms, and real people. We have had wonderful, consistently good experiences for a decade or more. This is a small town, and...

It's entirely possible that you could enjoy your time in this hotel, but we were very disappointed. We thought, "Great! An old-fashioned historic hotel in a historic old town!" In fact, the hotel just made us feel poor for staying there (despite the fact that the room cost almost $200 as we were there in high season). Feeling poor on...
