Wife and I go to Port Townsend every late Spring/early Fall for a few days of get away, but go often on day trips. Never thought of staying at "The Swan" until last year when we saw it as we walked the town to the far end. It was a good decision. We stayed in one of the small cottages....

I agree with the others who stayed here that the location is quiet with respect to street noise and other distractions. I also agree that the room is comfortable and clean. The chairs on the verandas of the building are a very nice touch. But, the other reviewers that I read did not mention that you can hear conversations, bathroom...

We had one of their little cottages. They have managed to take a small space and make it feel very comfortable and they have included lots of thoughtful amenities. Each cottage has its own parking place. The location is absolutely perfect for walking around the town and several good restaurants are close by. The staff is very helpful. It should...

Dear Guest, The greatest pleasure of staying in a cottage is sitting out in the individual garden area, relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, and just watching the world go by. Thank you for enjoying your visit with us! Best regards

I arrived in Port Townsend on a busy weekend in late July. There was a blues festival at Fort Worden and it was tough to get a hotel room! My favorites were full so I gave the Swan a try. And I was glad I did. While not a historic building or blessed with a killer view, it was clean,...

We reserved a "Deluxe Suite." I'm not sure why it was deluxe, or why it was a suite. It was a standard room, small, with queen bed, with a standard, small, bathroom. That said, it was a pleasant stay. The room furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. Quiet: we were on the ground floor, and did not hear any noise from...

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your comments about staying with us. Actually, the main building has four “Deluxe Studios”, each of which face the marina and inlet. On your next visit, you must stay on the second floor to truly enjoy the view. Best regards

My husband and I booked 3 nights here back in May of 2015. We were on a very long road trip (22+ hours) and got caught up on the way and were delayed a day. Even though their website at the time said they needed 24 hours notice the girl on the phone was completely understanding and said it was...

This place is such a gem. The penthouse was perfect for my family of six. I almost don't want to gush too much because it'll be harder to get reservations. The place was spotless. The coffee, tea, creamer, the DVDs to borrow with popcorn... they care and it shows. You get the feeling the staff really wants you to enjoy...

Great location, view of harbour, nicely appointed rooms, dvds, popcorn, friendly staff. Puget sound express next door. It keeps us coming back. Warning to tall people tho, the queen beds are short and small.

We stayed in a cottage, perfectly suited for two people. The layout was functional and cozy with enough room for making tea and preparing foodstuffs. The Hotel is centrally located, but yet comfortably quiet in a secluded, private kind of way. We could walk to all the shops, restaurants and piers and easily stop back to our room for a...

Great service, location and hotel! We stayed in the main house facing the street, but it was still a wonderful experience and I can only imagine it's even better with a water view!
