This historic building Hotel was way beyond my expectations! The room was huge and included a living room as well as bedroom. The reworked old building bathroom was done very nicely. We had the old dog with us and anticipated a room that felt like dogs had been there and this did not. My dog found a food and water... More

Traveling with our two adult daughters, and my husband and I, we stayed here for an overnight before catching the ferry to Coupeville. Friendly staff upgraded us from a one bedroom with a sleeper sofa to a two bedroom which was most appreciated by the daughters! The Bishop is a charming Victorian place which we loved. The complimentary breakfast, with... More

Our one-night stay at the Bishop was a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming and provided us with a map and list of restaurants in town and made several suggestions. The hotel is charming. The suite was large and comfortable with all the modern conveniences, plus lots of pillows. We selected our breakfast items when we checked in and they... More

My husband and I visited Port Townsend and stayed at this location in the heart of the city. It is within walking distance to everything!! We enjoyed the breakfasts delivered in baskets each morning. The staff was wonderful and helpful, not to mention we just enjoyed chatting. Laura Lee Houston was especially great at the front desk!! We had a... More

Like taking a trip in a time machine with all the modern conveniences. Very clean, roomy and comfortable. Lovely gas log fireplace with thermostat in the combined sitting room and kitchenette. We arrived early before check in time quite tired. Our room was not ready as we were early. We went to breakfast, a wonderful diner, at their suggestion and... More

We chose this hotel because we wanted a central location for our two night anniversary getaway. That it was. The Staff was welcoming and very pleasant and the hotel suited our needs. It was very convenient to have the free parking lot (with a hotel pass) right beside the hotel. There were lots of brochures in the spacious lobby, a... More

We spent a night at the Bishop Victorian in a 2 bedroom suite. The suite included a small kitchen. It was perfect for traveling with 3 adults and an infant. The rooms are decorated in quaint Victorian style. They were clean with comfortable beds. The building was built in the late 1800's an includes tall windows. Service was friendly and... More

Dear Guest, Since 1891 this historic building has been home to a freight storage facility, a cigar store, a tavern, and now a boutique hotel . . . all the while preserving its vintage character. Thank you for enjoying your stay with us. Best regards More

This is really a step back in time It's a three story brick building which was built in 1891 and still has no elevator, so rooms are walk up. I had a great feeling about this hotel. It is in the heart of the downtown area, just a block from busy Water Street. The lobby is spacious and pleasant. The... More

This was a well-appointed, gracious hotel. Staff, furniture, cleanliness were all top-grade. Unfortunately, I didn't fully realize that a 3rd-floor room was only accessible by schlepping up 46 steps. While carrying luggage. The August temperatures, while lovely outside, meant that our room cooked when they reached 82 degrees. There is no A/C and no insulation: the victorian brick work outside... My family and I 'descended' on Ravenscroft for a family wedding almost two weeks ago. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfasts amazing, and the location was perfect for us. But what really made it superb was the helpfulness of Dave and Carolyn. We had a task list to get done for...
