Have been staying here many years for the annual knitter’s retreat. Our group of 100 plus stays in the barracks. Little has been done to improve these accommodations. Although some said they had new mattresses, I was not so fortunate. I am certain the mattress I had this

We visited the center with our 3 year old granddaughter. The touch tanks were well done with lots of different varieties (starfish, hermit crabs, sand dollars etc.) along with written descriptions. There are tanks with fish, a small eel, large crab and shrimp. A new "resident"

We are so glad that you were able to discover the Marine Science Center. They have a second exhibit telling the story of an Orca named Hope, that we urge you to return and experience during the spring or summer. The MSC has many special programs for kids of all ages, for lovers of all things about our beautiful Salish Sea.

Thank you for your stay and for sharing about your visit. The Stewards is indeed a historic accommodation, and sometimes features like steeper stairwells are part of that experience. We can help folks for whom this is a consideration to find a good match from among our many houses - there are even several ADA homes available..

This was our second time to stay at Fort Warden. On both stays we were on the NCO row. We knew that the houses would be old and musty inside. This unit had a very strong odor that we could not air out The setup of the place was unusual as the shower was on the enclosed back

We are very sorry that this occurred during your stay with us. This is disappointing, since our Maintenance staff is very proactive in working through abatement and other measures to deter these sorts of undesirable visitors from the State Park. We did have an upgrade available on Officers Row that could have accommodated your stay, so we are sorry too that you were not able to take advantage of this. Please contact our Reservations Department if we can help with arranging a future visit - we would like to find a way to make Fort Worden special again for you and yours.
