This was the first time for any of us at a B&B and we were thrilled. The breakfast each morning was a wonderful start to the day. It was a good chance to speak with the other guests. When we had to leave before breakfast on our last day, Cindy prepared our breakfasts to go. The rooms were so beautiful...

This inn is very comfortable with charmingly appointed rooms. The best feature for me was the wrap around terrace and gardens. The settees overlooking Puget Sound from the top of the hill at 313 Walker Street are the best. Gardens are lush with summer flowers. The gourmet breakfast with fresh espresso or the freshly baked cookies are perfect.

This was my first time staying at a B&B and I was very pleased with the experience. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by the owner and given a quick tour and run through of the inn. My friend and I loved the decor and antique pieces. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the front entrance, the artist's...

We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights and couldn't be happier. Cindy is a very gracious hostess and serves a great breakfast each morning.. We were on the 3rd floor and had a great view of the Sound. The rooms were immaculate and well decorated. We would definitely stay there again.

The Old Consulate Inn was a great choice for a Port Townsend weekend as we were able to walk downtown, to the Uptown farmers market, etc. There was a full house during our stay, which meant 16 people at breakfast, and lots of interesting conversation. Both breakfasts were excellent - fruit (fruit plate one day and a baked pear the...

Wow, where do I begin with the Old Consulate Inn, definitely a unique inn experience. First, I'll start with the positives: - beautiful old Victorian home with period appropriate furniture, lighting and unique "oddities and curiosities" in every corner - comfortable bed - easy walk into downtown - good view from room -espresso machine in library Our first impression came...

BallardGirl21, We're truly sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. We'll be the first to admit we aren't for everyone - we're an authentic Victorian home in an authentic Victorian town - but a number of points seem unfair and the dictatorship comment is simply insulting. We're extremely clear about check-in times including, as stated online and in emails, that if...

My wife and I don't generally stay in Bed and Breakfast accommodations but this was a great experience. It was very clean and the owners pay close attention to authenticity and detail throughout this Victorian era mansion. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated in period furnishings and fabrics so it feels like a step back in time. The breakfast...
