Very neat resorted Victorian hotel. Nice rooms restored well with great beds. Great front desk service including carrying our bags up to third floor with no expectation of a tip. Great proximity to ferry and downtown port Townsend.

My sister and I stayed in Miss Ruby's Room. It had two queen beds and the room was very charming. There is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor so lots of steps! But it was really a nice stay. The hotel is close to pretty much everything.

I loved the character & history of this hotel. Right on the main street, by the waterfront and many great eating places nearby. The marina, which is always full of activity is five minutes walk away. Although it is a Victoria building the room was excellent. They have renovated the rooms to add bathrooms. Ours had a fabulous walk in... More

Well worth the effort. We were in the corner room number 11 and was impressed with its amenities and view!! I would recommend if you were in good shape and have packed lightly. No elevator! Beautifully appointed and historic hotel.

Loved this hotel! All the rooms have so much character. Because they leave the unoccupied rooms open, I was able to see that all the rooms are decorated in the same Victorian style, and you can't say that one is better than another. So pick anyone! There are also two sitting rooms where you can read or chat with other... More

What fun to stay in an 1889 Victorian building with a checkered past, its 19 rooms named for the infamous ladies of the night who once worked here. Set on this lovely seaport's main drag, across the street from the bay, the Palace features spacious, ultra-high-ceilinged rooms, nicely kept Victorian furnishings, several comfy sitting areas and yes, a very steep... The Palace is an authentic Victorian style "painted lady" hotel on PT's most interesting and historic street along the waterfront. Each room is unique, and like all the public areas, furnished in nice period antiques, with lots of lace and quilts. A favorite spot is the 2nd floor library for sitting. However, a lot of the old upholstered furniture isn't... More

I am flat out in love with this hotel, despite the steep stair climb to our amazing Marie's Suite. My husband and I are 65+, so despite gym & yoga, we do have some mobility issues, but great help was available for my overpacked suitcase, so all ended well- very well indeed. Our suite is light filled, charming and yet... More

The Palace Hotel is an interesting hotel. Full of antiques and charm. The doors of the vacant rooms are left open during the day allowing you to take a wander around. The service at the front desk was friendly. Our room, Miss Simone's, located on the third floor was clean but in need of a make over. The carpeting was... More

My wife and I were attending a concert and decided at the last minute to spend the night in Port Townsend. The palace hotel was right downtown, close to everything and the hotel staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We would gladly stay there again.
