This hotel was a great place to stay. We were only there one night but plan to go back and stay longer. Very reasonable price and very attentive staff. It was once a bordello and is done in the Victorian style. All the rooms are tastefully done. We were on the 3rd floor and had a separate bath but we... More

This is a wonderful hotel. We booked 3 nights here and loved every minute. The hotel was once a bordello and is decorated with Victorian furnishings. It is like stepping back in time with modern amenities. There isn't an elevator and we were on the 3rd floor, but there are places to "rest" as you climb the stairs. The rooms... More

We stayed here over a couple of days July 4th weekend and it was great. The rooms are very unique. It was like going back in time. It was clean and comfortable as well. We stayed in room #8 which was Miss Simone's room. Very charming, and the front desk was very nice. They even held our room for us... More

We visited the Palace Hotel right in the heart of the Historic District. Just walk out the Palace front door to many fine Port Townsend establishments. The three floors of 19 rooms are uniquely laid out with Victorian and modern amenities. The top floor suites with kitchenettes are handy. Just an interesting place. No elevator but staff will help with... More

The Palace Hotel occupies the two upper floors of the Captain Timbals Building, It has no elevator so one must walk and carry luggage up 30 steps or so. It has uniquely decorated rooms, magnificent views, a fascinating history and pets and families are welcome. It's just two blocks from the ferry on Water Street and a short distance to... More

I stay at the Palace hotel a couple times a year, always a good experience. Very close to everything downtown, places to eat and drink with in feet from the hotel. This trip I stayed in the Miss Claire, very nice room with huge windows and a view of the main street and water. The bathroom had a jetted shower,... More

If you hate Victoriana, this place is not for you! Our home is even older, so we were not disappointed. The room was great, and the lounge on every floor was a nice surprise. Sat around and drank wine with nice couples from Oregon our first night. Very convenient to shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free wifi... More

This former brothel has been beautifully restored and updated for comfort with an historic feel. The rooms are decorated in the period, quilts, lace curtains, antimacassars. There is a sitting room on the second floor with some antiques. The top floor features suites with kitchenettes and a stained glass skylight. Fun and well located.

Pt. Townsend was always a nice stop en route to/from Victoria BC, but since we weren't going to make it to Pt. Angeles in time to catch the ferry, we opted a walkabout in the the town. To our surprise, a vacancy at this hotel allowed a splendid time in the town, especially since it's so centrally located to almost... More

Yes, it is Port Townsend, and you go for that Victorian Seaport experience. But from the Palace and other venues in the City, it has fallen on hard times. Our room, while comfortable, had a mishmash of furniture as if it was a storage center. There was a salvaged craftsman computer desk, Ikea arm chair, Victorian bedstead, 80's apartment kitchen...
