The Old Alcohol Plant is an Historic Inn, Restaurant, Arts & Wellness Center that is nestled on Townsend Bay in Port Hadlock, WA. The building was first built by the family of the famous photographer Ansel Adams. The tradition of building a better community lives on over 100 years later with our mission. We’ve partnered with Bayside Housing & Services, who provide temporary supportive housing to low-income members of our community, focusing on seniors, veterans, and people in the workforce. The mission of Bayside Housing & Services is to provide safe, temporary supportive housing and services so people in need can secure permanent housing. Who we serve: Priority is given to seniors, veterans and low-wage workers who need housing in order to retain employment. Revenue from the Inn, Restaurant, Art Workshops, Music Events along with fundraising, help fund the Bayside Housing & Services program.

Drawn by the name and hotel mission. Their purpose is helping others and the hotel does a great job keeping rooms and facility clean and pleasant staff adhere to covid precautions. Called ahead as we were coming in late on last ferry, staff was there and room was clean decore a little dated but the morning view ov Hadlock bay was gorgeous. They keep front facility doors locked at night and mornings to limit traffic, located in quiet neighborhood 15 min from ferry overlooking Hadlock bay and marina. No AC here but with windows open, proximity to water and fan the temp was below 68 all night. Room charge helps underright their true mission providing guidance and housing people in need and I thought room cost was fair for all we received and they provide. Their in room provided coffee in morning was delicious.

This is a fabulous venue. the food was terrific the surface was terrific the decorations were wonderful and the people that work there are very accommodating. We looked at the rooms because our friends were going to stay there and the suite we looked at was just amazing. We can't believe that we have such a nice place to have an event eat a meal or send people for a room in Port hadlock Washington

My wife and I enjoyed a New York Steak with all the trimmings, garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. Enjoyed a glass of wine with Badd Dogg Blues playing in the background. Service was excellent. Nice way to enjoy an otherwise cold, damp, night.

The staff was helpful and very accommodating. The location is a short drive from either the Seattle/Bainbridge Ferry or the Edmonds/Kingston or if you choose you can drive around with easy access from Tacoma. Amazing location for all the adventure you may be looking for; be it outdoor hiking, boating, food, music, as well as the Arts. The Inn even has a full rotating Art Gallery. Live music on the weekends and a very inclusive PNW menu. This venue would also be an incredible place for events and weddings.

This is a very clean place but very dated and for the price I would have expected much more. I didn't really pay attention to the write up but they are great community activist and provide housing for those who need help primarily the elderly and veterans. This is a wonderful concept but I feel like I very much overpaid for the stay here.
