We stayed overnight as our start point to Mt Ranier. Our room was comfortable, our hostes friendly and helpful, our buffet continental breakfast limited but sufficient, and the two frees evening wines an extra bonus. There was a view of Mt Ranier from downtown and a great pub meal at the local tavern.

The lodge is located just outside Packwood. It's a very nice setting. Our room was spacious and clean (as was the rest of the lodge). Wifi worked well. Breakfast is included. They offer lots of choices. Every evening Forrest and Donna offer a complimentary wine. It was a beautiful evening so I had my wine outside. Nice way to exchange...

This is the second time in two years I have stayed at this little motel and I am amazed that it only gets two stars in the rating system. Although it does not have a pool or fitness center, the rooms are spacious, clean and nicely appointed. The managers are always helpful and smiling and serve two glasses of nice...

Don't expect that much of Packwood; it's a " one trafficlight" town with some primary stuff like a petrol station and foodmarket, but Crest Trail Lodge is worth visiting Packwood! Nice lady behind the desk and a large room with all the things you need, daily cleaning and linen In the evening a complementary glass of wine! You can even...

There seems to be limited options to stay in Packwood so we were pleased we had booked this hotel. We stayed one night when travelling from the Columbia river to Mount Rainier. It is quiet, clean, comfortable and well managed. A glass of wine and breakfast is included. All you could want from a hotel!

This was a nice place to stay while seeing the park. The staff was especially nice, the rooms clean, and the continental breakfast a nice touch. The bathroom, sink space was a bit odd, but minor in the scheme of things. We opted for separate beds given our travel arrangements and slept well here. I wished for a patio area...

A year ago I stayed here with my son while hiking the South Cascades, and my review said I hoped to come back. So came back this year for 8 days. We're hikers. We hit the breakfast when the gate opens (promptly at 7!) and then are out the door. We ate most of our meals out of the microwave....

This comfortable lodge has all any hiker would desire. It's quiet and attracts travelers that retire early and rise early. Breakfast starts at 7:00am...perfect for those who want to hit the trails early. The rooms have microwaves & small refrigerators. We found the lodge to be very clean and well-maintained . Every evening we sipped our complimentary wine outdoors and...

Recommended by the folk at Nisqually Lodge, Ashford WA and part of the same ownership group. Well located on Route 12 not far from Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens. Clean, quiet and comfortable though rooms at the back got less of the occasional traffic noise. My room at the back looked out over a quiet road where an elk...
