We arrived on Friday evening around 7:00 or so. We were quickly checked in, handed our two card keys and headed up to our room... #211. Our room was spacious, clean and ready to go. We turned the a/c on and within minutes could feel our room cooling down. We decided to go to a Mexican restaurant 1/2 block away on a suggestion by the manager Lloyd. Excellent suggestion. When we returned to our room a couple of hours later, it was cool and the place was quiet. We enjoyed the multiple channels on the tv and the wi-fi was fast. We slept well and my wife remarked that she found the bed to be quite comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. Overall, a very nice place to stay and if we need a hotel again in Oroville, we'll certainly stay at the Camaray. Oh, Lloyd, the co-manager, was very helpful and patient with my many questions about real estate in Oroville and the state of Orovilles culture, history and things to do in and around Oroville. Thanks again Lloyd!

My daughter and I stayed a week at this hotel. We have heard some terrible stories from people whom have stayed here before. Apparently they got new management because this hotel has been upgraded, and super clean. Air conditioner worked great, and was able to keep up with the 90+ degree weather. I recommend this hotel price was perfect and the management is always on site with any questions, or concerns. Thanks so much for making are stay so pleasurable.

Very nice room, good beds and very clean. The Cameray Motel is very quiet and very well maintained. It also has a very nice swimming pool! We were given the option of a coupon to use at local business in exchange for not replacing towels and sheets, etc. during our three-day stay. that was a nice touch.

Service was very friendly and helpful. Traveling with my 83yo father was challenging, but the Camaray made the trip much easier than expected. The room was comfortable and clean - no scented air "fresheners" or linens, just clean!

I stayed at Camaray while my wife went across border to visit family. Even during this crazy covid times we are living in, the motel staff were very professional yet very friendly and helpful.. they even offered information to ensure my wife’s border crossing was easier! The people I encountered in and around the motel were all very friendly as well

I highly recommend this motel to anyone traveling thru the area…. Very affordable!! Thank you for the fantastic stay in your town

What a delightful little gem! My partner lives in Loomis half the year during fire season, and I'm 3 hours away. We decided to get a room last minute and everything else was 100% booked, called Camaray and they were so friendly & accommodating. Great room, great prices, exemplary service. The front desk staff were so kind & generous! So happy to have accidentally stumbled onto this sweet little place, can't wait to come back (fingers crossed the jacuzzi room is available next time!)

I loved this motel! My husband and I stayed here in June 2021 in a queen bed single, for a weekend relaxing getaway. I want to say I was very pleased at the clean and fully stocked rooms. The owners were very accomidating, kind, and willing to work around what you needed while you stayed. The pool was clean, heated and had floaties, water toys, beach towels ect.. Again very thoughtful owners. This place is older not top of the line, but we have stayed in many high end motels and hotels and I would choose this place over any of the others because of the kind thoughtful efforts they do to keep you feeling comfortable and relaxed while you stay at their motel! Wish there were more people and motels like Camaray motel! Thank you for caring because it shows!👌

The owners were fantastic and very accommodating. Very clean and in a great location for a great price. Would 100% recommend this place. I had plans change while in town and needed a last minute room. I showed up at about 10am. They dont check in until 4pm. But seeing as I was out there to hunt and camp and got caught in a snow storm, he checked me in really early anyways saying "Let's get you out of that snow"

I really appreciated this clean and comfortable place to stop on my backpacking trip. The room felt more spacious than most motels I’ve visited and everything smelled and looked clean. The owners were welcoming and helpful and the location is perfect for getting around town.

We had to travel during the height of the Covid 19 crisis and stayed at the Camaray. The best part was Sandy and Clyde, the owners. They are the most effective example of business owners you can possibly find!! They care deeply about their customers and were very helpful to us. With the Canadian border closed to Americans and the warehouse that we had driven 750 miles to find locked up in Oroville, this couple helped us problem solve this into a very positive outcome for us!!

We are just 5 miles south of the border. Next closest motel to the border on the US side is 17 miles south of where we are.
