We had an overnight stop here on our ride from Sedro Woolley to Maine. A great welcome from Katy, with all the info we’d need and dining recommendations when asked. Room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and we’d stay again.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 days this month (stuck an extra day because of a blizzard) and wasn't impressed... pictures speak volumes and they are attached but suffice to say that The Omak Inn is in need of a major face-lift.
Since 2010 I have stayed here like 7 times I do believe over that stretch of time and the past 2 yrs we have not been able to venture into the US cause of Covid times. We are here today for our first time in the US in past 23 months for a shopping trip and the casino. I booked here cause I wanted to use the hot tub and even though they have really jacked up the rate! Now $90 US! Most ever! The hot tub was down again and I do believe it was down over 2 yrs ago too! You cannot just blame maintenance as they would take just a full day to fix any issues typically and what are the odds down the day I am here! Come on! The tv is still so very tiny too and you cannot use the guide and you have to go channel by channel to find any shows! Most annoying. So for $115 CDN this was a big fail this time! Also it says masks mandatory on entrance door but when I arrived, nobody but check in clerk was wearing one! Why not implement this rule then!…
Can't really say much about this place, but it was someplace to lay our heads for the night while travelling across the country. The room was clean, but definitely dated, and while some updates had been completed, there remains work to be done to bring this place to above average.
Convenient location just off Hwy 97 near Walmart, fast food and other stores. Older motel in process of being updated. Smooth check in and out and staff was courteous. Room was clean with microwave and small fridge/freezer.
The pool and hot tub were cold. The service was okay but not great. I only stayed her as it was one of the two options. Close to the road. Close to the stores. The subway is right next door. They do have a minimal breakfast.
Although it’s named Omak Inn, it offers 5-star services :) I left my iPad in our room and Mila from reception desk tried to contact us quickly by email & phone to make sure we got her message. Since we have already drove 4 hours away from Omak to Seattle, as soon as we got Mila’s message and call her back. She was so kind to offer help to take down my hotel address in Seattle & my credit card info to arrange express USPS delivery by going to USPS mail office herself to arrange the delivery. I’m truly appreciated her big help to go above & beyond to make sure I get the delivery next day in Seattle. Big shout out to Mila :) Also, hotel breakfast is simple but lovely. Really loved the waffle machine for making yummy hot waffle in the morning. All staff in the Inn are super friendly & helpful. With such a reasonable priced rate but 5-star services. I will highly recommend Omak Inn to anyone who travel to Omak :) …
Stayed at Omak inn for weekend. Location is good close to hwy shopping and casino.staff friendly but room dated.stayed for 2 nights asked for room cleaning.sign on door yet never was cleaned? Was put on 2nd floor room.we asked for first as family member found hard walking up down stairs and they said they didnt have one?? Room was ok not sure if cleaned as I used disinfecting wipes when we entered room. Omak inn way cheaper than Holiday inn right next door.Breakfast is only continental and not full.Restaurant bar right next door
This is a great choice if you are looking for a place to sleep when traveling. The inn is a bit dated but has everything you need including a comfortable bed. I did notice there was a stain on our sheet, but it had been laundered. The water pressure in the shower was very low and could have been a bit better. The courtesy breakfast is very basic with waffles, cereals, bagels, toast, eggs, yogurt, juice and other continental breakfast items. The one surprise hot food besides waffles, was biscuits and sausage gravy. My husband who loves good biscuits and gravy, and is very picky, actually thought it “wasn’t bad” and for him that means it was pretty good. This hotel is what one would expect for the price and a great place to get rest when traveling.
This was not a pleasant stay this time. Our room was dirty actual dirt on the flat surfaces. Last cleaned 1-8-19. They did send a housekeeper up to clean the dirt, but even the housekeeper didn’t understand why the front desk didn’t move us to the room next door she had just cleaned. There are obviously many upgrades needed. The desk lamp doesn’t work in room 209 in fact the plug is ripped off. The view in room 209 not appealing the HVAC units. The alarm clock barely readable I’m glad I had my phone available to use for an alarm. I was very disappointed and I am usually a repeat customer but this might be the last time we book here. The housekeeper advised me to call the manager on Monday and I plan to.
