We spent 5 nights here and enjoyed our stay. Rooms clean, beds comfortable, lots of channels for end of the day viewind, very nice complimentarily breakfast. Ample parking which is a plus when you are downtown and free with your stay. Revoked this hotel for your stay.

I'm a business traveler and, for better or worse, stay in all classes and types of hotels from budget to five star hotels. I was in town for a meeting and wanted to stay downtown because I'd heard there were lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. There is only one other hotel downtown, a DoubleTree, and it was over $100... More

When I went to Governor, we had a little problem with our booking. However, our staff member was so nice that they upgraded us to a better room. The room was on the second floor. The view wasn't that great, but if you get a stay at a higher level, you could see the capitol, the lake, and the park.... More

Booked this hotel looking for something centered in the older downtown area. The friendly, professional-looking, front desk staff was my first impression. They were wonderful and helped us get around. The room was clean, large and comfortable. The lake view, is more of a pond past a few industrial buildings, but was still great. Breakfast was above the standard fare.... More

We only stayed in the Governor to break up our trip, our final destination was on the Canadian border. We were lucky because Olympia is a cool place to hang out and we would have missed it driving through. It has a fun downtown, and the Governor is right downtown, a wonderful harbor, within walking distance. The rooms have been... More

The air conditioner didn't work which is a big fail in Summer. Our room was so hot we could barely sleep. The rest of the hotel was pretty nice but we couldn't get over how warm it was. They also don't have the greatest cable coverage.

Good clean rooms - friendly helpful and accommodating staff. Hotel was full for the weekend but didn't hear a thing suggests no "paper wall" construction. Tad old in external outlook but recently updated internally.

This is a our second time at this hotel in the past year and a half. Our stay this time was better than our first time - it was a great experience! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We found our room to be very clean and comfortable, and we had a great view of the Pride Parade. (super... More

Excellent service, convenient location, and good room rate offset extremely soft beds and evening noise from the neighboring park. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in handling our group's accommodations and providing appropriate recommendations for dinner and shopping. The primary detractor were the beds, which we way too soft. We had two rooms and the one across from the... More
