The rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. If you arrive late you just call the off-site manager and she is there within minutes. Affordable. Great location and only a five minute drive to Omak. They give free WiFi. It has an overall rustic charm.

The Cariboo Inn was very charming, affordable, and comfortable Motel! Highly recommend staying here! Very clean and lodge feeling throughout. The Motel was also centrally located with an attached restaurant.

The hotel is old--in a historic sense and has interesting decor. The lobby is inviting and somewhat rustic. We arrived late so had to wait for the manager to arrive and let us in. This was not really a problem as the wait was not long and the woman was friendly and helpful. The room was moderately large and the... More

Just came back from a quick trip from east side Seattle to Nelson BC and staying around Okanogan made the trip more relaxing. I prefer to patronize small businesses versus the big chains and the Cariboo Inn was better than most chains for the price. Easy to find, not far from the main road, the room was immaculately clean and... More

There was no one to check you in when I arrived, the number online was for the owner in Seattle who never returned my call. I had to rely on a resident to provide a number for the manager. There were no instructions anywhere in the lobby to reach her. The free wifi was slow and sometimes didn't work. There... More

We were a bit saddened driving into town because the town seemed very quiet, almost dead (though it was a Sunday evening). However it was a good location to stay the night during our trip through the North Cascades NP. The rooms were small, but clean and quiet. Another review mentioned bad AC but the unit in our room seemed... More

We had a very difficult job in the area and after spending a weekend at their competitors in Okanogan were ready to pull out, until we could get better accommodations and thankfully the Cariboo Inn was there to surprise my co-worker and I. Extremely fair rates, friendly and accommodating staff and very clean, modern and cozy rooms were quite the... More

The hotel is in a brick building in the centre of town. Next door is a small restaurant which is internally connected to the hotel. The room was small, basic but OK for $60,- a night without breakfast (October 2013). There was a small flat screen TV. The bathroom was very small but clean. There was a strong free Wifi... More

We spent 1 night in room 202 as a stop over on our way to Vancouver from Glacier National Park. Mike met us at the Inn to let us in and show us the room and give us the key. It seems there is not someone on-site, at least not all the time. The Inn was built in 1925 with... More

A great old fashioned inn full of character and interest. Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable with tv and wifi if needed. Bar seemed to be popular with locals and guests, with live music (sat night). The inn itself was fine, but the street noise outside went on until quite late, so maybe get a room towards the back?...
