The innkeepers did not wear masks when we arrived and were greeted, nor did they wear them when we saw them working around the property inside, in the public areas, where guests were present. They did not direct their guests to wear masks, although there were masks and hand sanitizer available. This made us feel unsafe and concerned about our health while staying. This Inn offers public accommodation, and should comply with the mandated state mask laws. Having said that, the Inn is attractive, comfortable rooms and bed. Lovely to have the soaking tub at the end of a day on the beach. But NO on safety and health. We had prepaid for two nights, no refunds, forcing us to stay there.
Liked · Despite Covid 19 and the "No contact” mandate there was plenty of food in the rooms frig and right outside the door for breakfast as well as fresh baked chocolate chip cookies night and day to make this an excellent B & B. We got a kick out of the huge shower with 4 wall jets but did not try the soaking tub in the room. There was even a telescope in our room for stargazing from the balcony. Wish we had another night! The decor and workmanship in this B&B is just beautiful. Thank you Rose!
This place was pretty amazing. While we've stayed at some upscale hotels before, this was our first time to a BnB. Was it a bit more expensive? Yes. Was the service, environment and the privacy worth the cost? Yes! Beyond that the home was extremely tastefully done! Warm and inviting, beautifully decorated! Stamped tin barrel vault ceiling, Coffered ceilings, ambient lighting, Airtubs, body sprays in shower. Baldwin hardware and fireplaces everywhere! They have quite alot invested into the quality of which you stay! Beautiful river rock walls, wood inlays and furniture. Grand piano below the torret room. Beautiful kitchen, wine room, gorgeous staircase to the 2nd floor. Certainly well worth the slight difference of your average hotel/motel when you factor all the costs others dont include. Rose was awesome. We met Jim briefly, the day we checked out. The only way anything could've been better is if their services weren't slightly impeded by covid and you got the full deluxe continental breakfast in the kitchen (they strived to provide what they could within the current limits) We will definitely be returning our next trip out that way. I'm hoping for stormy winter weather! With gratitude for your efforts and the service style and decor you deliver! The Morgan's…
Rude - ignorant owners - DO NOT BOOK HERE !!! Self serving - nasty to locals - could care less about anyone but themselves - avoid at all costs they have closed access to beach behind their cabins and therefore access to other parts that r open - if u come to ocean shores avoid this establishment - they even posted a sign on city property - I will be voicing concern with city council.
My husband and I stayed here for a romantic weekend while the kids were with the grandparents and had the most incredible experience. The inn and our room were both spotless with sanitizing options to spare. Both were also just so.. special. The room was themed and very romantic and the inn was decorated with great taste to provide the perfect cozy, romantic ambience with class.. and again everything was clean and spotless. Check in and out were remote as an extra safety measure. We would definitely highly recommend to anyone looking for a special place to stay, and although I didnt see their cottages it is definitely an option I would consider for the family when it's a little safer to travel with young kids.
