This stated cabin was a great reminder of when I was a kid and went on vacation with mom and dad and my brother. Often times we count cabins like this they gave us just a space we needed. Gavin was comfortable had a comfortable sofa and armchair. Had a nice round kitchen table, a very small kitchen but everything you needed. Very comfortable bed, king size that took most of the room. It was a great place to spend our anniversary weekend multiple quality restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store that had everything you might want at a premium price because you’re at the beachwe would go back again

We have been coming to the Klipsan Beach Cottages for years and can highly recommend the cottages.

The place is small...only eight individually decorated cottages. We are partial to #8, which is an end unit offering a little more privacy.

Except for some dunes there's not a lot between the cottages and the ocean. We just love it there...come rain or shine. We have been there in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Even over New Years. At times it has rained. At other times it has been hot. But...we have always enjoyed every minute we were there.

Most are one-bedroom units, but there are a couple of two-bedroom units. All units feature full kitchens. One year we stayed for close to two weeks eating in many nights as we didn't want to miss the sunset. Each unit has it's own, large patio facing the ocean.

The managers, Mary and Denny, are tops!!

Enjoy your stay! I know that most people come back.

We took a mini 4 day vacation to the peninsula and had a wonderful time. We often rent cottages and this was the cleanest and most well stocked we had ever seen. The kitchen was small, but well stocked with great tools (not broken, abused no-longer-nonstick stuff), stove, microwave, and even a dishwasher. The bathroom looked to be recently redone, and the whole cottage was very nicely decorated. The deck had a great view of the ocean and really good deck furniture. The grounds are so beautiful they should be showcased in Sunset magazine. We cooked most of our meals, but had a great night out thanks to the owners’ recommendation. The cottage is also well situated for exploring both Leadbetter Point SP and Cape Disappointment SP. We’ll definitely be back.

This is a beautiful property in an area where there are few. Beautiful landscaping w/ pretty plants & trees. A nice clam house w/ seating for get togethers. All cottages face the beach, but grassy dunes separate the cottages from the beach directly. Nontheless, the views are quite nice and tranquil. A nice trail leads to the really great beach. The beach is wide and good for kite flying, walking and anythings else. Nice for building bonfires.

The property is very clean w/ artistic touches throughout. Each cottage/house has pretty paintings and lots of cheerful touches that make them feel special. One of the owners is obviously an artist. The owners are also very nice - yet completely unobtrusive. Property throughout is beautifully maintained.

Highly recommended for a slice of quiet time, reflection, and athletic enjoyment. There is a lot of hiking, biking, and horsebackriding around.

Visited Klipsan Beach Cottages October 10 for an overnight getaway. Really lucked out with the weather. Off season slowness at the resort prompted the kind owners to upgrade us to their premiere two bedroom cottage, the one that caught early morning sun on the deck before the others. Enjoyed solitude and beauty sitting on the scenic deck overlooking a wide swath of unobstructed grasslands and dunes towards the ocean, 800 yards away. Remodeling and careful maintenance makes these cottages cozy and attractive. Area landscaping is equally fastidious. This is a beautiful place. Will return.

I would have booked here. However, when I called to book, the receptionist said that they do not allow people with service animals to stay at their properties regardless of what the Americans With Disabilities Act states. Since these properties do not accommodate people who are disabled and have service dogs, I have to book somewhere more disability friendly.

Kllipsan Beach Cottages is a neat place for a romantic getaway. We had lovely sunny weather the 4 days there...walking on the beach, reading quietly in the cottage....just beach combing & relaxing from our hectic pace!
The managers, Dennis & Mary Caldwell, are very gracious & keep the beautiful park like grounds spotless as well as the cabins!
Overall, quaint cabins, restful, clean.....

This is a great little set of cabins on Long Beach that are meticulously cared for by the owner/managers. I particularly appreciated the time and care spent in grounds and gardening, and the cabins themselves were very clean and well maintained. It's just a short walk over the dunes to the beach.

You will find peace, serenity and tranquility in these lovely, immaculate oceanfront cabins. Each cabin has a large deck, a wood burning fireplace (wood provided), a well-stocked kitchen, flat screen tv (you won't use it) and comfortable beds. They are all meticulously maintained. The grounds are beautiful and spacious. We have stayed in many places on the west coast and none of them come close to the Klipsan cottages.
No matter how long you stay at the cottages, you'll wish you stayed longer.
There are also many exceptional restaurants in the area. We loved the 42nd Street Cafe.
Mary and Denny are wonderful, warm, helpful and work so hard to make your stay extra-special. Thanks, Mary and Denny and Mary's Mom, for all you did for us. An unforgettable experience and we'll be back often!
