The Acorn Motor Lodge is right in the middle of Oak Harbor- which is very convenient. We had stayed here a few years ago and liked it- and stayed again this holiday weekend. Our room was clean and large- we had a queen with a refrigerator and a microwave- the room also had a chair and a love seat- the...

We stayed 7 nights at this motor inn, and found it to be a very good value, albeit a little noisy in the early mornings. The room was clean and spacious and had a refrigerator and microwave; Haggen Food Mart and Wal-Mart are closeby for groceries. Coffee/tea was available in the lobby 24/7. Muffins, bagels, coffee/tea and orange juice were...

The furniture is 'heavy', unique large dark wood and beautiful. Breakfast is rolls and coffee, juice and muffins. Not an expensive place, but nice. Lots of parking, right downtown. Close to the city park and stores. That's value!

I stayed a single night at the Acorn. It is nothing fancy, but it isn't a dive either. It was quiet, the gentleman (I assume owner) was friendly and efficient, bed was comfortable, shower was hot. (The tap water tasted terrible though.) The AC was quiet and efficient. I would stay again at the Acorn if I was in the...

Stayed one night after whale watching further north on Widbey Island. Pleasantly surprised. Didn't look like anything special from the outside, but the inside was immaculate and plush. Rooms were spotless. Heavy reddish drapes with scalloped valances, and windows that opened so you didn't need the a/c if you are ok with the traffic noise. Everything was spotless and very...

The hotel is priced fairly well. The rooms furnishings are large, makes you feel like royalty 😉. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We were on the back of the hotel and the room was very quiet The breakfast is a bit small. Just bagels, English muffins , jam, coffee tea. Would have loved some fresh fruit or yogurt.

Although initially reluctant to book here due to some of the reviews, my overnight stay was fine and I would stay here again. Location is walking distance to my favorite restaurants: Island Café and Seabolts and the staff is friendly. Hotel provides basic, comfortable, economical stay.

We just needed a place to sleep,so it was great to be surprised! It was cozy and comfortable. I felt like the staff really took pride in the hotel. Our beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and we left feeling like what was just going to be a night on the road turned out to be quite pleasant....

My family and I stayed here so that we could enjoy Whidbey Island and the Blue Fox Drive-in and we were sadly disappointed. The check-in staff was friendly and the room was clean, but the positive notes stop there. In the morning, our bathroom door locked and we were unable to open it (locked from inside). The front desk clerk...

Rooms were nicely upgraded with very classy furniture, fridge and microwave and a quiet air conditioner. Very comfortable beds. The only problem is the front desk service and the breakfast. When we checked out there was a very overweight, underdressed sloppy person sitting in the chair behind the desk, slumped back and sound asleep with her mouth wide open. We...
