Hotel is run down. Service is bad. Rooms aren’t clean. Shower head broken. Climate control didn’t work properly. Rooms should not have been in service. Locate is convenient to Boeing. Not your typical Hilton hotel when it comes to quality accommodations and service.
It is very old and the bathroom was bad! Not just old but dirty :( toothpaste on the wall. Hair everywhere!! For the price per night we expected more AND they said they are extra clean because of COVID. Not true!! Then they wanted over $9 for a grab bag for breakfast!! We expect more from Hilton!! 2 times I went to the desk for help and no one was around. It is really too bad because the location is great!
We've stayed here multiple times over the last few years, as the location is perfect for our needs when visiting the area, and the runway view is most entertaining. We have always been pleased with our stay. This time, not so much. I don't know whether the management/ownership has changed, the effects of the pandemic are this dramatic, or what, but many things need correction at this hotel. Masks--state and county mask mandates are in place, and a sign at the front desk states that guests who do not comply will be asked to vacate the hotel. However, multiple guests were observed working in the lobby area without masks, and the employees were seen numerous times with their masks covering only their chins. If the policy is in place, it should be enforced, most especially for staff. Check-in-We preselected our room and upon entry, found a tired room in need of updating. Scuffed and scratched furniture, loud AC unit, a big chunk of porcelain out of the tub, and a bathroom sink not just dripping, but running with no way to turn it off. How a housekeeper could have missed that is beyond me. We went back to the desk to ask for another room and were told it would take 15 min. to have a room ready. With all the supposed cleaning protocols in place, I would have loved to see anyone complete the task that quickly. After 30 min. we checked on things, and found that our room was ready, but no one had provided the promised notification. This room seemed clean and everything worked, but we cleaned some more, taking no chances. Again, furniture needs replacing, as it is looking very used. Housekeeping-There is none. We have become used to scheduling when needed, and for a stay of two or three days, this is no big deal. However, when staying for a week and a half, NO cleaning of any kind is unacceptable. I will say that the housekeeper working our floor was very nice, provided replacement items when we asked for them, and trash that was left outside doors was removed very quickly. The fact that the hotel has abandoned any housekeeping during a stay needs to be clearly stated on the website. The first notification we had was reading the sign at the front desk. The excuse is that they are understaffed, and I realize that that is a problem, but basic services involving cleanliness need to be addressed. Staff-The gentleman that I assume to be the GM is very no-nonsense, and not particularly friendly. Some of the front desk staff was upbeat and greeted us coming or going, others acted like they couldn't have cared less about being there. Again, the overworked housekeeping staff did the best they could. Value-Seems to me that when the hotel offers NO restaurant, NO bar, NO housekeeping, and limited other amenities, the price should reflect the diminished service levels, but full price continues to be charged. The current condition of the hotel and lack of service in no way justifies the price. It is distressing to see a nice hotel that we have enjoyed in the past slip so far in every respect. Hilton really needs to take a close look at what is going on in this location and provide guidance on how to properly manage the facility.…
Arrived Tuesday evening on a reservation for a handicapped room. It was a suite. In the bedroom bathroom, fecal remains were left in the toilet. It looked as though a quantity had been left in the toilet, not flushed, and left for a period. The toilet was subsequently flushed but significant remains were left. I notified the front desk immediately whereupon she offered to change rooms. We have to have a handicapped room and this was the only available. I requested a clean-up as soon as possible. No cleaning staff at night so she left a note for the next morning. Next morning - nothing. Went back again and explained to new front desk person. She said would get cleaned immediately. Nothing for two hours. Complained again and same person said cleaning staff heading up now. Left for the day and upon return still sh-t in the toilet. Complained again and nothing. This has got to be the worst hotel I have I have ever stayed in. I still feel like I need a shower after staying in this awful place staffed by uncaring people. I am looking at the "The Hilton Garden Inn Promise" that sits in front me now. It states: If something isn't just the way you like it, simply let any hotel team member know, and we will make it right. Guaranteed." What an utter crock.…
My room was very unclean. Not only did I find makeup on the bed spread, but black hairs literally everywhere. A colleague I was Travelling with also mentioned his initial room was unclean (bed sheets did not look clean). He changed rooms, which improved things slightly. At least the bed looked clean. But he mentioned the bathroom tub was littered with little black hairs. I’d have to say this hotel seems promising, front desk staff very helpful and kind. But this hotel needs a retrainining in how to maintain cleanliness.
