Serene, relaxing, private campground. The owners are very kind and welcoming. They have the most upscale campground store we have ever visited, which makes it fun and unique. The spaces are private, we stayed in #12 it sits among the many trees and near the creek. They deliver firewood to your campsite upon request. Dog friendly, a beautiful area for the dogs to explore and roam around, just across the wooden bridge from the campground. Electric/water hook ups worked great. Shower room and bath house were available as well as a dump station. Wifi is not very strong and Verizon cell is almost non existent, but we didn’t come here to stay connected. Mount Rainer entrance is only 15 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again. Don’t come here if you want a park with every amenity possible, come here because you want to relax and unwind in the beauty of the area.

What a wonderful camp. From the unique sites to the meadow of trails with Adirondack chair gatherings to cleanliness inside amenities and outside to the amazingly unique and tasteful gift shop, we enjoyed staying here during our visit to Mt Ranier National Park. Their attention to detail was much appreciated and welcoming.

ELKAMP is located in a beautiful area! The grounds and facilities are immaculate! All RV sites are nestled in between tall trees. Very quiet and peaceful. Convenient to Mount Rainer. Brian and Tom were very accommodating, easy to work with. Make sure to spend a down day at ELKAMP just enjoying the great outdoors. Had electric, water, dump station, fire pits, coin shower. Thank you Tom and Brian for a wonderful stay!

And that was our experience. We had two beautiful sites side by side, with semi full hookups. Very quiet and Brian and Tom were always accessible if you needed something. Great location for hiking and our pet loved the run in the cleared area they have.

If you are looking for a campground near Mount Rainier National Park, we highly recommend Elkamp Eastcreek in Mineral, WA: about 15 miles from the Nisqually entrance. The campground is gorgeous, and the sites are large, quiet and private. We had site #10 and could only see one other RV while we were sitting outside, and one when we were inside. There is a lovely creek, walking paths and a beautiful meadow to enjoy. The owners are very welcoming and they have a cute store on the property. We would definitely stay here again, even if we were not going to Mount Rainier 😀

We happened upon this campground on our roadtrip from CA to WA and wow what a pleasant surprise we stepped into. Tom was so kind and welcomed us with a warm greeting upon arrival. The property was simply gorgeous. Every site is surrounded by moss covered trees, the creek put us tent sleepers right to sleep, and there’s a great field with many trails on the other side of the bridge. It was a very relaxing stay with other campers who were quiet and respectful. The showers and bathrooms were extremely clean and well maintained. Only regret is that we didn’t plan for a longer stay! We will absolutely be back to visit. Thank you Elkamp for the beautiful stay.

Fantastic campground in a magical forest, away from traffic noise. Much more like a state park or forest service campground than a commercial park. Easy drive to Mt. Rainier. Don’t expect good wifi or cell service. Very nice store and greats hosts! We will definitely be back!

Lovely, clean campsite in a beautiful location. Really well placed for exploring around Mt Rainier - 15 mins away from the Nisqually entrance. Beautiful forest setting, clean pitches with all the amenities, a fire pit & bench. Wish we’d had longer to stay!

We were there 4 nights. Quiet, good services, excellent hosts. Close to Rainier and Mt. St Helens is in reach. Will stay again if in area. Ate at nearby (on road to Rainier) Himalayan restaurant and recommend trying it.
