If you want to experience the bounty of the Pacific Northwest in an ingenious yet simple presentation by chef Blaine Wetzel, the Willows Inn on Lummi Island is the place for you. From the vegetables and herbs they grow on their own a farm near the Inn, fruits from local farmers, the seafood and fish from Puget Sound, foraged mushrooms... More

Like many others, the food experience here is beyond amazing. We loved every bite, although small, but so so tasty. We loved the wine pairings, appreciating they would be local and unique. The breakfast was also delicious and absolutely something not to miss. The room was nice, and we slept well, but not on par with the rest of the... More

Impeccably orchestrated meal of countless delights including some of my favorites- crab, mussels, lamb, chanterelles - and many new items. Everything is presented perfectly. The staff are attentive without being obsequious. We stayed at the Loganita Cabin, which is a comfortable walk from the Inn. I wish I could have stayed there for the week.

We spent 1 night at The Willow Inn on August 4, 2016. We stayed off site in the Loganita Cabin, and had dinner and breakfast the next day. Our closest friends had stayed in the past and raved about it. Now for the past 14 years, we have vacationed together and had foodie vacations at some of the finest restaurants... More

Lummi Island beautiful, low-key island easily reached via a 10-car ferry ride. We stayed two nights at the spacious, well appointed Beach House at the Willows Inn, which was serene and romantic (lots of steps leading down to the house/beach, so not an ideal situation for anyone with mobility issues). The sunset view from the main deck of the house... More

My husband and I stayed at the Willows Inn for one night to have dinner at the restaurant. The accommodations were like, hip-rustic and had a lot of nice touches like French press coffee, wine, robes, food/beverage at check-in, etc. (No A/C or fans FYI - usually you shouldn't need it so far north anyway). I wish we had been... More

The room is just a room, but it is the only guarantee for a seat at dinner. That made it worth it. This place serves the best dining experience you can imagine! We started our meal with a before dinner drink. Local herbs and great quality spirits made a good cocktail. We were then served some great "starters." Amuse bouche... More

The most comfortable bed I've slept in during recent travels anywhere. It was like a cloud. And the grounds, the air, the pebbled beach across the street and down the way... not to mention the most outstanding, delicious, sublime food I've ever had (and I've been to Faviken and others like this). Nicholas and the team made the whole experience... More

We chose to stay two nights (June 26/27 2016) for a birthday celebration because of Chef Blaine Wentzel and his amazing team. They exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and of course what I liked best is that there is a true sense of a 'team' of chefs that work collectively to ensure that each guest eating has a... More

Multiple course meal, one seating nightly. They shut down in the winter months, and space is limited so prepare accordingly. Priority for restaurant reservations is given to those who book an overnight room with the inn. The food and wine pairing were off the chart good. The views were amazing. The one downside was that our "pet friendly" room wasn't... More
