We had a pretty bad stay at the Islander. We had been marina guests before and loved it, and thought we'd stay with our family in the hotel this summer as our plan was to be on the island without our boat. I tried to reserve a pet-friendly room, followed up with an email confirming so, and never got a... More

Arrived to do a bike ride. This hotel is in a good location, rooms were fairly clean and comfortable, seems they are doing a bit of upgrading. It was nice to open the door and get a cool breeze. Nice patio to sit on, the bike rentals were 2 minutes away, dinner at the restaurant was very good. A great... More

Spent a night here recently on a mini break. We were pleased when we arrived to see our room was one of a small strip of rooms overlooking the ocean. The room was stuffy when we entered and definitely dated but once we opened up all the windows it cooled down nicely. There was a large patio out front, perfect... More

Cool resort, great balconies; tiki bar, outside seating over the harbor. Asked for a late check out because we wanted to rent their kayaks and take a quick go around before we left. They informed us check out is 11 am and we could pay $20/hr thereafter. REALLY? It was a Monday and they were far from full. Not especially... More

We reserved a night at the Islander sight unseen and arrived to a clean and comfortable location. They even cleaned our room early so that we could get in and settled before an afternoon of activities. We returned that evening for a wonderful prime rib dinner out on the patio. It was not a fancy resort but it was value... More

My husband and I just had the most incredible treatment by management at this resort. Through a misunderstanding, we booked a house managed by the resort expecting 2 baths but the house had only 1 and 1/2...inconvenient for 2 couples. After searching alternatives and could find nothing during this busy summer season, we agreed to make it work. Within 2... More

I really enjoyed camping here last year while biking around the islands. It is close to town, has a swimming pool and hot tub, a nice restaurant/bar and no one bothered us or made us stay in a specific spot on the grass. It is a wide open area, but is gently sloped to maintain the views. Most campers were... More

We travel here every year on our boat and it was my favorite summer get away. The poorly trained dock staff got in our way rather then helping us during docking. My credit card number used for reservations was stolen a day after I made the reservation and I can't help but wonder if it's because they write it down... More

This festive yacht club group did have a very good band on a 70 foot boat who played for a while although this music ended at 7:45 pm at which point that yacht club all went to dinner tpgether. I was on the dock wearing a Resort uniform and I observed guest enjoying the music. I did not recieve any... More

This was my third visit to Lopez Island, and the first time I've stayed at the Islander. My husband and I enjoyed our visit! The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious - we stayed on the second floor and had a great view of the water (we recommend rooms 28 and 29). The restaurant has... More

Arriving early the staff was cordial and welcoming. Our room at the Islander was second floor with a beautiful view of Fisherman Bay. The room was sufficiently large for the two of us and was very clean. Microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator were in the small kitchen area. We value a good night's sleep, and the bed was comfortable,... More
