We stayed for 2 days this week. The place is excellent, can't give it less than 5 stars. Very quiet and secluded but close to the "downtown" area and ferry terminal. Spacious is understating the accommodations and there is very little they haven't thought of. We were prepared to grill our food but a burn ban prevented that, certainly not their fault. Only complaint is the provided coffee (Folgers - weak and terrible) - bring your own!
Spent three days in cottage four which allows dogs, so nice and peaceful. We visited many of the beautiful parks and beaches. Lopez taking the virus very seriously. Contactless check in, They ask you to stay in car on ferry. Limited restaurants and hours sometimes just certain days or lunch. But we brought food and there are groceries including a health food grocery.
We spent a couple of days at one of the drive up camping spots, and had a great experience! The picnic tables, and hammock were a nice addition to our spacious camp site. We also appreciated the common kitchen area with a microwave and a shower. The campsite is right next to the road and you do hear vehicles pass by, it was not a problem for us - but just something to consider! Would definitely recommend!
We spent a very nice 4 nights at Lopez Farm Cottages and Tent Camping at one of the drive up car/tent camping spots. We love the Ramada/Shelter area that contained picnic tables, restrooms and fireplace for a community fire. Loved the fact that not every campsite had a fire ring to pollute the air by ones tent! We also loved the bathrooms with the large shower areas, great for couple showers too! The coffee pot with fresh coffee was provided every morning in the Shelter area and was nice We also liked playing Bocci Ball in the custom banked court.... Lopez and the other San Juans are beautiful in the summer...... I would camp there in a heartbeat....
This place was great for biking around the island - the main town is about a mile away. Amenities were great as well, bathrooms were clean, adequate space for cooking. Lots of open space to wander and enjoy the scenery.
