The reviews are WRONG for this place. The owners must be submitting reviews for themselves. Nothing like pictured; hair all over bed, stains on pillows and mattress, mold on walls, it stinks, dirty bath tub, dirty walls, dirty headboard, dirty lamp shades. GROSS!

We booked a king suite to celebrate my sons 7th birthday. Due to COVID we weren’t able to throw him a party and felt a beach trip would cheer him up. Room 203 is underwhelming, outdated, moldy, and uncomfortable. 1) We called the hotel a few days before our trip to confirm sleeping arrangements, seating, amenities, etc. I was told our room would have a king sized bed and a pull out sofa sleeper-perfect! Just what we needed. We called to confirm as the photos online were confusing and the same photos looked to be used for multiple rooms. 2) We arrive at the hotel to find they’ve already charged our credit card (I advised them I’d like to change the method of payment at check in and was reassured that would not be a problem), we weren’t allowed into the lobby so they handed us our receipt and room code and closed the door. This was ok, I guess, we didn’t have too many questions, other than wanting to change the payment method but it turns out that wasn’t an option. 3) We get upstairs to our room to find no sofa, no coffee pot, dirty floors, hair. We did have a private bedroom with a king sized bed, but the “living room” had a day bed with two twin beds and a queen sized bed stuffed in the corner. Nowhere to sit (unless you find it comfortable to sit on the edge of a bed) The pictures online are not accurate, the staff do not seem to know their own policies or how their rooms are set up. The bathroom had mold that appeared to have been painted over a few times and the amount of hair left on the beds and bathroom is disturbing. I would like to add that we have stayed in this hotel before in a downstairs room (captains quarters I believe) and that room was much nicer.

Great find! Suite was large, clean, looks newly renovated. Great location to food, shops, beach. Much better than what some older photos show. Would definitely stay again. Price was right. Bright and airy.

This is in the heart of Long Beach...you can walk all over the Main Street shops and even the beach...very friendly and helpful. The rooms are in need of some serious repairs and updating but are clean and comfortable. The bathroom could use a shelf or some kind of counter...no place to even put toothpaste. We’re not busy so breakfast was a menu on paper with six or seven choices such as muffin , yogurt, milk, oatmeal and put in a basket for pickup at 8 in morning...we didn’t mind. Parking was right in front of room which was on side street.

Great place close to shops and dining. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard with cereal, waffles, pastries and fruit. Bed was super comfy and room although older added to the quaintness that made our visit a memorable one. Only drawback was no AC but since the visit was in October it wasn't needed.
