We just had the pleasure of staying at #3 bungalow. It had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Was immaculate, especially important during Covid. We would definitely stay here again. Our teens didn't love the futon mattress, but it's a futon!!

These little cottages are as close as you can get the beach without being on the beach. walking distance around town literally just off the main drag, and a wonderful restaurant right on site had the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long long time. The cabins are small they are Cabins but they are wonderfully decorated with everything you need and a patio that is lovely to sit out on. I highly recommend these cabins for your next stay in Long Beach.

Stayed in bungalow 8 and it's at the end of the row so there is nice light on three sides of the cabin. It's a beautifully designed interior space that includes a gas fireplace, TV, full kitchen, necessary cooking tools, and an oversized whirlpool tub (which is really for one lounging person). There's also an outdoor deck with table, chairs, and a grill area. The bungalows are one block off the main street through Long Beach so you can go out to restaurants, bars, shops and also being one block away, we didn't hear street noise. You can walk down to the ocean in 5 - 10 minutes. A relaxing beach getaway and would definitely come back :)

Bob, Wrinkles and I booked our favorite bungalow at Akari as soon as the pandemic lockdown was modified. Even with masks and social distancing, our stay was magical! Kathy provided her usual cheerful and efficient assistance, and it was great to see her again...even with masks on! We always appreciate the comfy bed and yummy coffee beans that make such a great cuppa first thing in the morning! After a busy day in and around Long Beach and Astoria, we opened up one of the jigsaw puzzles and had a lovely evening just relaxing at "home." Akari Bungalows is a great location for going and doing whatever you enjoy! We look forward to returning soon!
