We enjoyed our relaxing stay at Pine River Ranch over Christmas! The grounds were were beautifully covered in a thick blanket of snow which made it magical! A delicious breakfast was served daily to our room and our room featured a a large rock fireplace which added to the ambiance. The view off our balcony was gorgeous with a private view of the mountains behind. I would highly recommend if you are wanting to escape the rush of Leavenworth which is a beautiful drive and about 20 minutes away. Also there are numerous restaurants close by that were recommended and very good
We had a great time on our trip. Really enjoyed walking around the property and the cabin was so cozy and nice to stay in. We hope to be back again soon in the cooler months to hopefully see some snow.
Quaint little cabins in a very quiet area. We checked in later in the day and our welcome letter was on the door, cabin open and key inside. Walked on the beautiful grounds before bed. Room very clean and furnished nicely. Breakfast was delicious and brought to our cabin.
Move along, meh honeymoon with this place. They will get very defensive if you leave bad reviews. Any time people have problems it’s almost always because of the service. Please consider a different location.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights for our anniversary and we absolutely loved this place. Every morning we got a delicious breakfast, the room was perfect for relaxing and the location was great, only being less than 20 minutes away from town. We loved how quiet and peaceful everything was, we highly recommend this place! My husband and I will definitely be staying here in the future!
We were very happy with the accommodations- beautiful room and scenery. The bed was gorgeous and comfortable and breakfast was hot and delicious. The property is absolutely breathtaking and peaceful. We plan to return!
We just spent 2 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The property is gorgeous with a great view of the surrounding area. Our cabin was like new and very nice with a huge rustic log framed bed. Given the virus situation our breakfasts were delivered to our cabin each morning. They were freshly made, delicious and hot! Our host was very nice and enjoyable to talk with. He told us about the area and as we were there for fishing about where to go and what gear to use. The Lake Wenatchee area is so scenic. We look forward to going back to stay, hopefully next summer. All the cabins had a wonderful scenic view of the surrounding area. Our cabin was very large, with microwave, fridge, deck, bathrobes, and much more. Outside is very nicely landscaped. They also have horseshoes and a very nice kids play area.…
The breakfast is great, and I really don't usually like breakfast foods. The portions were nice. It might have been good to have the fruit come in two smaller portions vs. one larger portion, but overall wonderful breakfasts that were different each day! The grounds are very nice. We are big walkers, and we enjoyed taking the trails to the creek. It got us exercise, and we enjoyed seeing the countryside. The cabin was pretty nice, true to the internet pictures.
Found the cabin was very nice and clean fireplace with the fan up above kept the place nice and toasty. Wished we could have experienced more of the outside but it was to cold. Will have to go back in the spring. We had a sleigh ride scheduled but the snow didn't cooperate but we still got to go on a wheeled wagon with horses pulling. It was fun. Pine River made a price adjustment for us. That was great. Leavenworth Christmas lights were great. Pine River we will see you again. Thanks again Merlin & Sharon
We held my daughter's wedding here June 8th 2019; the venue was beautiful, but that is where it ends. The owner, Patrick, has a lot to learn about being a good host. It began when we arrived, he was legitimately angry because some guests were parking in the wrong area and had no problem being rude to them by aggressively ordering them to park in the correct area. His attire was extremely unprofessional as a host, he wore shorts, T-shirt and sandals. His attitude was he did not want to be bothered or approached, he simply wanted to bark orders to the bride and be left alone..... he did make it a point to all of the wedding party and guests, this was his property and barn; in which he stated many times throughout the day. When asked by a family member for an extra table, he replied "why do you need an extra table he had his staff set out enough", she was set back by his response and sarcastically asked "you have accommodated weddings before, right?" Patrick asked her "what she did for a living" (like this had something to do with her line of questioning) and she responded, "I'm a high school teacher", she was taken back when Patrick said, "oh, you're a teacher, I'll talk slower then" (this is the truth as several guests witnessed their interaction) she responded "well, maybe teachers from Washington are slow, but I'm from California. She had to walk away from him as she was upset and didn't want to show it to her niece (the bride). She ended up having to locate another table and setting it up herself. Patrick was hovering around the venue all day and night, many guests observed him and were asking "why is he here, who is he and why is he dressed so inappropriately." He made many people uncomfortable to include my wife; as my wife was waliking from our room to the wedding venue, she was dressed in her "Mother of the Bride" wedding attire, she had to walk past the main house where Patrick was sitting with some of his workers and Patrick "Cat-Called" (Whistled) and stated "Momma's looking good" like a 13 year old boy thinking this was acceptable. The bride's aunt had moved 3 tables down about 4' to align with a hanging ornament that was put up, Patrick immediately reprimanded her as he had a specific spot for all of the tables and "apparently" this was a big deal. There are several other examples of Patrick's run-ins with our wedding party and guests, but I want to speak of the experience. Be aware, in addition to the very expensive venue cost, you are forced to book 6 rooms at $225 each for 2 nights (per the contract). You cannot bring alcohol to the event, you must purchase their alcohol and use their bartenders at $60 per hour which you have to begin 1 hour before and 1 hour after the reception. The rooms that are forced upon you are acceptable with the exception we could have booked rooms with our families at a much cheaper rate, there was a sign in our room that stated "Bed and Breakfast, You make both"; this sign states the attitude of the host. There is a Queen bed that seems the size of a Full bed. Breakfast is served at 9:00AM sharp. The property was immaculate set amongst the mountains. The venue is not "disabled persons" easily accessible. The reception area is the second story of a barn, which takes approximately 25 steps to climb, the ground is grass or dirt and the surface is extremely uneven. There is a long ramp at the back of the building, but no older person can climb or push themselves up on their own and they would have to travel on an uneven grass surface to get the rear of the building about 100'. The parking lot is 5/8 crushed gravel and it is about 60' - 100' away from the venue depending on where you park. In closing, our daughter's wedding was fantastic because of the family and friends that pulled together to make sure the terrible host did not ruin it for her. I gave this venue 2 stars as that is all the rating system would allow, but here is the breakdown: Venue: 4 Stars Hospitality: 0 Stars Service: 1 Star Accessibility: 1 Star Location: 4 Stars I would not recommend this venue simply because of the owner, with that being said with positivity and support a beautiful wedding can be had here. It is very difficult for elderly guests to get around.…
