Mountain Home Lodge is a great get away in Leavenworth. Close to downtown (3 miles) but away from all the hustle and bustle. The owners, Brad and Kathy, have taken care of every little detail. The lodge itself is beautiful; rustic elegance. We were warmly greeted and shown to our

Thanks Stephanie for a 5-Star review! It is our pleasure to share the beauty of the mountain with our guests and its great to hear you two had a marvelous time. This autumn has been spectacular and everyone has enjoyed embracing Nature's last hurrah before winter settles in. The trails are still wonderful with fall foliage and crisp, clean air! Glad Kathy's appetizers and breakfast cuisine filled you up with yummy treats. She enjoys creating fun tastes from our gardens, orchards and local purveyors. We are all so lucky to have the bounty of the Pacific NW to call home!! Have a wonderful holiday season ahead and we will look forward to welcoming you back to the resort perhaps in the future. Cheers - - Brad & Kathy

Obviously Leavenworth is know for its majestic scenery and winter hijinks. We chose to visit at the end of September for 4 nights. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm, but not oppressively so. We like so many travelers now depend on a GPS to get us to our final destination an

"1,000' Closer to Heaven" is a tag line we use at Mountain Home Lodge as we are in fact 1,000' above the village of Leavenworth and we are pleased to read you had a "heavenly visit"! It is pretty special up here in our own alpine valley. The setting is unmatched and at times it is hard to believe we are only a little over 2 miles from the tourist town bustling in the valley below. The serenity and peacefulness of nature offer a welcome renewal for everyone and we are happy to hear you and your wife enjoyed your experiences at the resort. Glad to know that Millie and Sierra earned their keep by being attentive trail dogs, but not pesky, on your hike into the woods. Thank you for your gracious review on our cuisine too. Kathy enjoys creating fresh, interesting menus featuring what we harvest from our orchards and garden as well as from local purveyors. Have a wonderful fall and winter season ahead. We will look forward to welcoming you back to the Mountain when your travels bring you back to the Cascades! Best regards, Brad & Kathy

My boyfriend and I did this as our anniversary getaway and it was everything we wanted and more. Kathy and Brad are amazing proprietors and make you feel right at home. MHL is secluded enough to feel like you’re in your own oasis, but close enough to Leavenworth to sneak into tow

So appreciative of you taking the time to share your experience at Mountain Home Lodge with other travelers Haley. It was a stellar weekend with Oktoberfest fun in the village as well as amazing autumn weather for hiking and relaxing in our slice of paradise in the Cascades! We look forward to welcoming you two back for another anniversary visit next fall (#3!!) if not before, as each season offers great outdoor adventures at the resort and in the area from hiking, mtn biking, golf, paddle boarding, kayaking, fly fishing, bouldering as well as just relaxing poolside enjoying pampering by us to recharge and renew!! Hi, do you allow small dogs in the rooms?
Hello Neal, I am sorry but the Lodge, Cabins and grounds does not accept pets. I would suggest contacting Leavenworth Visitor Center 509-548-5807 for further recommendations in our area. Sincerely, Brad

Do any of your rooms have a fireplace in the room? If so do you have availability 12/26/15 - 12/31/15.
Good Morning, Thank you for your request. Yes, we do have Cabins and our Cascade Suite that have a river rock fireplace. However, those accommodations are taken through the holidays and the dates you requested. We do have limited availability in other accommodations that maybe of interest to you. My husband Tim and I will be traveling from Albany, OR to Spokane WA and are considering a stop on Leavenworth, WA in route. Is your Stuart's Roost cabin the only one available? What amenities are available in that cabin? Cooking, microwave, refrig, jacuzzi tub? Is there a hot tub by the swimming pool? Where can I find menus from your lodge and the prices. The $440/night is more than we usually spend. Is there a senior citizen rate? Is the view spectacular from this cabin also. Is there good fishing nearby? How far is it into town from MHL? More info appreciated. Thank you. Linda
Good Morning Linda, Thank you for your request. I am not sure from your post which days you are looking to stay with us. However, our availability calendar is accurate, a complete listing of all amenities for our cabins, suites and rooms are also listed there too. TripAdvisor will not allow me to post our web address and limits the length of this post. A quick Google search for Mountain Home Lodge Leavenworth, WA will bring to our extensive web site. Also, please feel free to contact me and I will gladly go over all your questions. Sincerely, Brad 800-414-2378

We are thinking of travelling to Leavenworth from Seattle by train or bus. How far is the hotel from train and bus stop? Does hotel arrange transportation to and from the stops? If not what are other convenient transport options?
Hi, It was a pleasure speaking with you. I am sorry TripAdvisor will not allow me to put in a link to Leavenworth Shuttle. Here is their phone number 509-548-7433. Sincerely, Brad
