One of the first things you notice as you enter your room, is that this is not a corporate-cookie-cutter hotel. The details in the room are personal and all serve to make your stay feel more special. It is not just the lobby that looks nice. The rooms are beyond your normal hotel. Everything from the lighting fixtures to the bathroom fall lend to the environment being many notches above most non B&B lodging. Great staff too!

Hotel and room were very nice. Due to COVID19, your room will not be cleaned each morning, trash will not be taken care of (and no extra trash bags provided). If clean towels are needed, you have to ask for them in the lobby. The included breakfast was a cold, brown-bag breakfast consisting of a hard-boiled egg, stale bagel, mushy apple and a small yogurt.

I didn't know what to expect taking a trip during the pandemic of COVID-19, especially since Washington hasn't moved beyond phase 2. At the Bavarian Lodge, they still provide breakfast, but it is a brown bag breakfast which includes 2 hard-boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, granola, and a bagel. Not bad. They're not providing daily maid service (unless you request it) and the staff are all wearing masks.
On the weekend, the city of Leavenworth closed Front Street to cars so pedestrians had plenty of room to do some social distancing. Unfortunately, the Nutcracker Museum was closed.
Back to the Bavarian Lodge, the room was clean and everyone was friendly. I brought my own Keurig coffee cups, but they use a different type of coffee maker, so the front desk clerk gave me oodles and oodles of extras so I didn't have to ask the maid for extras on a daily basis. And...it's the perfect location and so easy to walk to the shops on Front Street.

We booked a one-night stay on short notice on our way to an event in a nearby town, hoping to see the Christmas lights. We were not disappointed! Our room was very clean and comfortable, the front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating, the buffet breakfast was outstanding. We enjoyed the lodge style furnishings, including the floor lamp that was a tree with a bird.

Leavenworth is one of the best places to visit during Christmas time. And the Bavarian lodge amplifies the experience due to its location. If you can get a room facing the village, the lights and everything can let the Christmas spirit continue through out the day and night.
We stayed there for 2 nights and we had so much fun. The room was comfortable and room service was excellent. The lodge is located at the heart of the village and everything is pretty close by. Breakfast was awesome as well. Kids loved the hot chocolate and hot apple cider that was available throughout the day.
Overall its one of the best holiday experiences we had.

Best part about this place is pretty much everything. Clean cozy rooms, huge delicious breakfast, super kind staff. They really make you feel at home. Cozy Northwest cabin feel. Hot coco, coffee, cider, and fresh fruit infused water 24 hours a day. You just feel spoiled from the minute you walk in the door. Thank you so much! Love this place! Will not stay anywhere else.

September 2, 2020 Great hotel and friendly staff Stayed here with my husband and daughter. Reminded us so much of Europe! The staff was friendly and professional! Rooms are very clean and decorated in such a quaintly style made me happy and felt like I was in Germany again! We ate at the outside patio at the woodsman pub at the hotel the service was very good and they were very friendly. Thank you!❤️

Perfect location. Town view was great, see pictures from our window below. Perfect staff. Front desk, house keeping, bar staff and others were all friendly and professional and accommodating. Well trained. Immaculately clean. Rooms halls and common areas were perfectly maintained. No dirt in room bathroom was almost sterile.. made me feel safe in our current environment. Also no scratches in the halls from service carts. Beautiful decor. All the decor is tasteful and still gives the bavarian theme without looking overdone. Beautiful flowers everywhere, the ones in our window were amazing. Price. Price was great for the location and service. Comfortable beds. I slep like a baby. Very comfortable. Also want to thank the staff for making the best of the covid situation. The bagged breakfast was actually very nice and was ready to go. Much better then canceling breakfast altogether.

It is now our family tradition to take our son to Leavenworth every August to celebrate his birthday. We started when he turned 12 and this year he turned 16. Even with the pandemic upon us and the pool closed we had such an amazing time. Initially we were only booked for two nights but I added two the week before we checked in. We went to the river everyday, walked the village and had delicious meals every night. They provided us with sack breakfasts everyday as they were not able to do traditional breakfast service. The bags were plentiful and delicious. The front desk went out of their way to make sure when we moved rooms we didn’t have to deal with storing our luggage. They took care of everything. When Thursday hit and we decided to stay another night they didn’t bat an eye. I do wonder if they were taking bets on if we’d ever leave. We just at couldn’t help it. It’s such a lovely place to stay. The perfect respite after the tumultuous 2020 we have had. In fact we love it so much we are going back in October to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! You can’t go wrong Bavarian Lodge has it all. Kindness, Comfort and Location. Oh and you must check out the Woodsman Pub if you stay. Great wines by the glass and a great selection of beer too!

My family and I have stayed at this location several times over the years. We won't stay anywhere else. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, well maintained, and nicely decorated. We like the fact that there was a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room, and the hotel provides Starbucks Caffe Verona coffee. The staff was always pleasant, and the free breakfast was a great convenience. The fireplace in our room would be a plus during the Fall and Winter. Our room had an air conditioner.

I were there last month , what a cozy fun place to stay , no they do not have any onsite laundry facilities , but there is a hotel down the block whom let non guest to use their laundry facilities , do not forget use the outdoor tub ! happy new year

Unfortunately we are a pet free facility. Our desk does have a list of local properties that accept dogs. There is also the Leavenworth Pet Lodge, which is a great option to house your pets while you stay.

Breakfast is complimentary, and currently "to-go" with Egg Frittata, Sausage, Homemade Granola, Yogurt & Fruit.
Yes the Woodsman Pub was open. Breakfast was in a bag but with lot's of choices and very good. Many places were open but withMasks and social distancing. I love it there and will continue to go back many times. Everything in the Hotel was spotless and fun. You make your own good times and there is plenty to do. Leenkat
