Cramped over flow camping in open field. $$$ for location. But have heard this is typical for the Leavenworth KOA. October celebration isn't for families with little ones to stay. Loudm partying until late and lots of garbage. Maybe better in the spring?

This is a great family environment in a wonderful summer getaway town. Camp staff were always available and very attentive..adequate restroom and shower facility..nice coffee shop and store..spaces are a bit tight for class A's...not much elbow room between spaces..great access to the river..very much a place for kids and family...pool, hayrides, game room, volleyball, ...cabins also available..

This is a large KOA. We have been coming here every year for over 30 years. We have seen it grow, thrive, and unfortunately decline. The new corporate owners are working on things, but there is much to do. In the world of KOA's this is a good one. Nice sized spaces, for the most part and excellent amenities. The... More

Have been coming here for nearly a decade. Sites range from nearly touch neighbor's rigs in "the meadow" to spacious sites with brick patios, gas BBQ, full hook-ups (including cable) and firepit (on a post) behind the main building. Great location with easy access to town... walk (couple miles), bike. ride the complimentary shuttle, or drive. Tons of amenities and... More

Our family of 4 decided we would break tradition, and opted to stay at the Leavenworth KOA. We booked a tent site for five days over the 4th of July holiday weekend. We arrived at our site and found that the tent site we were assigned was in a good location, plenty of tree cover, near the bathrooms/showers, and across... More

Paid $300 to camp in dirt 5 ft away from your neighbor and to swim with 100 kids in the pool. Our RV barely fit in the site we were assigned. Wishing we would have looked elsewhere before we reserved. Other places are half the price and you won't be on top of your neighbor. Never staying at KOA again.

We stayed in the cabin. They do not have a/c like advertised on the site. They did have gaps in the walls (pics included) for bugs, mosquitos and whatever else wanted to wander in. They also has nails sticking out of the wall. I'm not sure if they were redneck hooks but they were dangerous looking if someone were to... More

If you are a camper this is the campground to go to if you are visiting Leavenworth. Immaculate grounds, friendly staff. Lovely pool, lots of Kamper cabins and lots of places for tents and RVs. There is a nice walk to the river, and small off leash dog play Area, You. Can ride tubes down the river. It has cable,... More

the sites are small, the front check in clerk was busy on the phone and helping us. She had an ambassador direct us to our site (guy in a golf cart), all he did was show us the site. The site wasn't clean there were peanut shells and popcorn all over. There could have been grassy areas if they took... More
