After reading through many of the reviews I really had no idea what to expect from this KOA. Let's first talk about what we wanted: a simple level tent site, relatively quiet surroundings, pretty close to town, good wifi. Well, 4 outta 5 ain't bad (sorry Meatloaf). The wifi was practically non-existent in the evening because "too many people were... More

On phone she told us it was a pull thru site but they put us in a back in. Workers seemed inexperienced with RV's and the space they need to maneuver. Wi Fi and cable tv worked ok. Trees and shade were good. We have stayed at the other RV park in area and liked it much better, but it... More

Had a good time with family. The facilities are the what one would expect of a KOA. It is pretty nice being so close to Leavenworth. They even have a shuttle that runs from the campground to the town. There are many activities to do around and ppl seem friendly.

All RV site, Cabins and tent sites are very expensive for what you get. Our site was suppose to be a premium site, however the barbeque was old rusty and broken. The grass was very brown and not being watered. Site didn't appear to have been cleaned for quite awhile. A water tap blew off at a site about ten... More

My family and a friend went camping over Memorial Day weekend and this was our last resort, it was the only place with vacancy, which may say something. I think that the staff was a little bit rude, about things they were unclear on. We had a tent site and the bathroom was extremely far away, very inconvenient. The sites... More

Cramped over flow camping in open field. $$$ for location. But have heard this is typical for the Leavenworth KOA. October celebration isn't for families with little ones to stay. Loudm partying until late and lots of garbage. Maybe better in the spring?

This is a great family environment in a wonderful summer getaway town. Camp staff were always available and very attentive..adequate restroom and shower facility..nice coffee shop and store..spaces are a bit tight for class A's...not much elbow room between spaces..great access to the river..very much a place for kids and family...pool, hayrides, game room, volleyball, ...cabins also available..

This is a large KOA. We have been coming here every year for over 30 years. We have seen it grow, thrive, and unfortunately decline. The new corporate owners are working on things, but there is much to do. In the world of KOA's this is a good one. Nice sized spaces, for the most part and excellent amenities. The... More

Have been coming here for nearly a decade. Sites range from nearly touch neighbor's rigs in "the meadow" to spacious sites with brick patios, gas BBQ, full hook-ups (including cable) and firepit (on a post) behind the main building. Great location with easy access to town... walk (couple miles), bike. ride the complimentary shuttle, or drive. Tons of amenities and... More

Our family of 4 decided we would break tradition, and opted to stay at the Leavenworth KOA. We booked a tent site for five days over the 4th of July holiday weekend. We arrived at our site and found that the tent site we were assigned was in a good location, plenty of tree cover, near the bathrooms/showers, and across... More
