We have had to opportunity to visit Eagles Nest many times over the past several years. We call it our home away from home. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and well appointed with great local art and special little touches all around. Joann makes the most scrumptious breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, pear puffed pancakes and asparagus frittata's...

The Inn is in a wonderful location with great views and very good access to hiking trails. Our room was very neat and clean and well provided with shampoos, towels, bath robes, and pillows. The Inn keepers could have been a little more welcoming and forthcoming.. They seemed to be very concerned with the rules and "locking the doors at...

Ben, Sorry! I was coming out of the bush and watching for ground hazards where my feet were going. I actually didn’t see you until you were further up the drive. Ann was coming up the rear several feet back and I did ask her how the hike was and we had a brief chat about the bush cutting. I...

My sister and I just spent three days in the Garden Room at Eagle’s Nest and enjoyed it very much. Just a short drive from downtown Langley, it was everything the web site promised and more. It was serene, quiet, private, comfortable, and well appointed. No stairs except a short flight to breakfast. A few seconds walk from our door...

I've been coming here for a bunch of years. I love the natural views, the wildlife, the relaxed setting. The rooms are airy with delightful views, the food is wonderful and the hosts are exceptional. I can be as laid back as I feel like, and still be within easy drives to a plethora of activities if I want something...

Jerry and Joanne were lovely and very informative. The grounds were beautiful and the interior of the B&B and room was clean and well decorated. The breakfast was delicious even though I was looking forward to her pear puff pancakes but the egg dish was very tasty. The only negative I have is that the toast was soggy because it...

As I started to write my review on this B&B I thought I would look at some of their past reviews to see if what I had felt was maybe unwarranted, I thought maybe it was just me. As I read the past reviews I found many guests that loved the Eagles Nest Inn but of those who did not,...

Thank you Rebecca for the feedback. I know your stay was only one night and with your aggressive travel plans it didn’t give us much of an opportunity to get to know one another and the welcome first impression I get that I didn’t score so well. I have a dry sense of humor and I’m straight forward and for...

I have read nearly all the reviews here and am stunned at the negative ones! Therefore, I have to share my experience. Personally, those who left negative reviews must be extremely picky and hard to please people, because I didn't want to leave! I had the pleasure of spending 8 nights at The Eagles Nest Inn and loved every moment....

We arrived after dark and I remember driving up a lighted and winding lane and suddenly there appeared this beautiful three story home with an eagles nest on top. The hosts pointed out that the house is built in the shape of an octagon. I was taken back by the great beauty of the building. We were delightfully charmed with...

We stayed in the Forest Room because we prefer sleeping in a king bed and not being on the ground floor (or lower) when we can avoid that. We are physically capable of handling the staircase, either inside or out (even with our bags, although we appreciated Jerry's offer of assistance). We found that three nights was the perfect amount...

Whidbey Island, especially Langley, is known for its pristine natural setting and its artistic sensibilities. We looked forward to a three day weekend of charm and luxury. This B&B is an island of Duloc with the hosts, while cheerful and attentive at appointed tasks, and informative about the tourist resources, they were self-absorbed. Is there such a term as 'industrial...

It’s hard to address something that sounds more like a tantrum than a review. However, I will do what I can. It is true we have been opening our home to visitors to Whidbey and Langley for 21 years and have experienced amazing people and continue to enjoy a host of returning guests and their friends. It is our pleasure...
